About GridStatusRaidDebuff MoP
This is the Mists of Pandaria version of GridStatusRaidDebuff. This addon requires Grid.
Note: Make sure to delete the old GridStatusRaidDebuff BEFORE you install this addon, they both use the same directory and saved settings.
Adds a status to Grid for debuffs applied by Raid Bosses.
Mists of Pandaria Debuff List
Cataclysm Raid Debuff List
Wrath of the Lich King Raid Debuff List
The Burning Crusade Raid Debuff List
How do I get the Raid Debuff to show up in Grid as the Center Icon?
- Open Grid Options
- Select the Indicators tab at the top
- Select Center Icon on the left
- Check Raid Debuff
(This option is also under Status->Raid Debuff->Center Icon, they both toggle the same setting)
If you are having problems, please make sure that you are running the latest version of Grid. This addon requires at least Grid version 1477.

Default to GetMapNameByID instead of GetInstanceInfo for localized zone name, falls back to GetInstanceInfo if no debuffs exist for GetMapNameByID zone. This should fix issue with GridStatusRD_MoP Throne of Thunder in German locale having a different name with GetMapNameByID and GetInstanceInfo.

Hello!
First off, I absolutely love this Addon. Great work and many thanks for keeping it in working order.
Now, on to my problem: I noticed that it didn't play nice with certain 'debuffs' on the Primordius encounter in Throne of Thunder. I'm trying to make it so that the following debuffs are hidden, because they make another debuff, Pathogen Glands, kind of hard to track.
So I added the following spellID's in manually and unticked the "Enable" box to hide them(since this method has worked in the past with other debuffs):
Thick Bones - spellID 136184
Keen Eyesight - spellID 136180
Improved Synapses - spellID 136182
Clear Mind - spellID 136186
Now the following occurs: These debuffs continue to show on the raidframes even when you untick the "Enable" box to hide them. It's as if the Addon simply ignores the unticked "Enable" box.
Is there any way to get around this? Because I would really like to hide these auras from my raidframes.
Many thanks in advance.
Hey,
wanted to install this addon, but I'm a lil' confused. What does this addon do that http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/grid-status-raid-debuff doesn't? Why is this addon not merged into the other one? Also, what does the Detect new debuff option do exactly? Do I still need this addon if I enable that?
Thanks
This addon is a replacement for GridStatusRaidDebuff. GridStatusRaidDebuff is no longer maintained. This addon is not merged into the other one as I did not have access to make some of the changes I wanted to make to how the addon is managed on Curse to make it easier to maintain. I have been unable to get in contact with the owner of GridStatusRaidDebuff since shortly after I was handed the project to maintain.
"Detect New Debuff" is what adds new debuffs that are not in any of the debuff list addons. You can use this addon alone without any debuff lists if you have that checked, however, the debuff lists have debuffs prioritized for bosses so that the most important ones show up with priority. If you do not use the debuff list addons than you need to manually prioritize all your debuffs. In addition, "Detect New Debuff" is not perfect, sometimes the game does not generate SPELL_AURA_APPLIED events for some debuffs which is what the detection uses. The debuff list addons can still display debuffs even when no SPELL_AURA_APPLIED event is generated.
You are best off using GridStatusRaidDebuff with the debuff list addons for whichever raid content you run. "Detect New Debuff" can be helpful if you want to see non-dispellable debuffs for 5-man content as there are no debuff list addons for 5-mans.
Ok so I love using Grid but I, after trying literally everything, can't reposition it on my screen and it's in the way. Unlocking it doesn't make it draggable and I'm just done with it eating up the center of my screen. Is there a fix for this or am I just going to go with out?
There are probably better locations for asking for general Grid support. You can reset Grid's position and anchor in Grid->Layout options if you scroll to the bottom there is a "Reset Position" button. Grid->Layout in the top left has "Frame lock" which allows you to lock and unlock Grid. When unchecked/unlocked you can drag Grid by the anchor (the black part that says "Grid") which the left mouse button held down.
Hey Guys, hope you can help me.
I get this Error Message since i used the new "GridStatusRaidDebuff MoP":
Message: Interface\AddOns\GridStatusRaidDebuff\Core.lua:5: Cannot find a library instance of "LibBabble-Zone-3.0".

I deleted the old GridStatusRaiddebuff Folder and copieed the new-one in, but this Error always occurs.
It sounds like you are missing the libbabble-zone library. Curse provides two downloads, one with libraries and one without (-nolib). If you downloaded the version without libraries (-nolib), you need to download those libraries separetly. I recommend downloading the version with libraries included.
We've turned on automatic detection of debuffs, but the Baleroc debuff Tormented that you get after you take the shard debuff doesn't seem to be detected. I have an old character that has it, by neither my newer character or a friend who recently got this addon receive it. Please add this to the detected debuffs or tell us how to add it. Thanks!
Are you running GridStatusRD_Cata? Some debuffs don't trigger the events that get detected, that is one of the advantages of the raid debuffs packs is that they include some of the debuffs that cannot be detected.
Is there anyway you could update the WotLK and BC/Vanilla debuff lists so that they don't read as out-of-date?
azelkeebar is the author of those addons and I do not have access to them. He hasn't responded to me for almost 2 years now, but it is always possible that he will come back at the start of MoP to update them. The only thing in those addons that should need updating is the .toc file at the moment.
Curse does not approve of copying addons that you are not the author of. I am open to suggestion on the best course of action. Curse has a clone feature for addons whose license allows it (they do), but I have not used it so I do not know if that is the best option in this case. That would clone the repository, but I do not know if that gives up access to check-in updated versions or adds you as an author. If anyone is familiar with that feature, please let me know. It would be very difficult to maintain an addon on Curse without author access to it.
Make sure you delete your GridRaidStatusDebuff BEFORE you install this one (GridStatusDebuff MoP). They share the same folder, so if you delete the original GridRaidStatusDebuff after you install the new one, it will delete the new one as well.
Took me a little while to figure this out. And you do not want the original GridRaidStatusDebuff at all, this is a complete replacement.
Thanks for that wording, Nexxus. It does make it clearer. I am adding it to the project description. My wording of "Delete the old GridStatusRaidDebuff and then install this one" is not as clear.
Hi, i got a problem..
Like many i guess i was annoyed by the popping windows asking to switch to GSRD-mop so i did.
But the windows kept on popping.. So i removed old GSRD, but now the new one isn t running as a dependency is mssing requiring the old GSRD...?? wtf :)
Delete the old GridStatusRaidDebuff and then install this one.
