About GridStatusRole

Adds role status to Grid.  Indicates the roles of your group members (Healer, Melee, Ranged, or Tank), and updates when group members change roles.

    How can I make these statuses only appear when a role check has occurred?

    This status is based upon talent specs (what they are), not upon role checks (what they say they are).

    This addon has worked flawlessly in the past but now I've ran into problems. Occasionally one of the 4 role colors goes to 0% opaque by itself (that role shows totally dark, while others are still bright). When I try to change the role color with the color tool I get a lua error:

    I have deleted the entire wtf folder and configured grid and gridstatusrole from scratch and I still get this error when trying to change the role color. Would it be possible to update Grid and Gridstatusrole to fit 3.3.5?

    Hey mate I'd just like to say great work on the mod.

    Just one problem I'm having atm with the latest version; it's either not detecting or not showing the color for the tank, resulting in a blank color (i.e. completely black health bar or no border when it's set to appear as Border.

    Any possible solution to this?

    Did you filter out the Tank role?

    Make sure that there's a checkmark by:
    Grid|Status|Role|Role filter|Tank

    No, it's ticked and all the other settings are unchanged except for colors for the different roles.

    This is happening in level ~70 LFD groups.

    Does this occur for different players and for different classes? I assume the tank was in talent scanning range?

    It happens with all tanks. Works with every other spec/class, but tanks it doesn't pick up/detect.

    You've disabled tickets on wowace so I can't access the page.

    After numerous requests:
    Changed role "Caster" to "Ranged". Hunters are now classified as "Ranged" rather than "Melee".

    Question: How can I assign the role's color to the health bar? Camparable to assign the bar's color to class colors I would like to have the role's color shown instead. Any ideas?

    Check - Grid|Frame|Advanced|Enable Health Bar Color indicator
    Check - Grid|Frame|Health Bar Color|Role
    Uncheck - Grid|Frame|Health Bar Color|Unit health

    Optionally check - Grid|Frame|Invert Bar Color
