About Guild Bank Repair Toggle

For many guilds, guild bank repairs can be used on raid nights to ease the costs of raiding for members. If you only want to open the guild bank for certain raids, guild leaders face an annoying task of going through every rank individually and changing the repair permissions. This addon automates that process into a single click.

Note: If you are not a guild leader, this addon is of no use to you.

To configure which ranks will get guild bank repairs, go into the Addon options, or type /repairtoggle gui

Pick ranks with the checkboxes, and push the Enable button (/repairtoggle enable) to enable repairs, or Disable button (/repairtoggle disable) to disable repairs for those ranks. Unchecked ranks are not altered by this mod.

You can also set the repair limit by putting a value in the amount box and using the Set Limit button. Note that guild banks only have one limit per rank that is for both withdraws and repairs, though people cannot use withdraw unless that permission is also enabled. But if you use the Set Limit option, that withdraw limit could be changed on ranks that do allow withdraws.

I wrote this for my guild leader, who found having to go through all the ranks enabling repairs on new boss night really annoying.

NEW!

  • You can set repairs to disable on a timer (eg: 5 minutes). This will announce to the guild that they have 5 minutes left to repair. The timer can be started with /repairtoggle starttimer or in the GUI. (You may have to set a time in the GUI before you can start it with the slash command.)
  • Logout feature is back! You can configure the addon to disable repairs when you logout or exit WoW. For leaders who tend to forget to turn things off, this is a pretty invaluable feature. :)

    What about a feature for no-guildmasters? I'm raidleader of my guild and i can change ranks but not the announce of gold to repp for my raid. Is it possible to create an option, to auto change chosen members to raider and chosen raider to normal member (if they dont sign in for raids anymore)?

    Sure, that sounds pretty doable. :)

    It tends to take me a bit of time to do stuff (real life, etc), but I'll take a look when I can.

    just to update this, incase its useful, the addon AutoGuildRepair has this feature (if you want to borrow the code etc). Was really good, just not updated and the ranks option was dodgy where as yours is perfect

    Hi there, just got the addon and LOVE IT, however i have a question related to th addon + Macros
    id like to make a macro that alows the user toleft click to enable guild repairs and right click to disable guild repairs. for example!

    /use [button:1] repairtoggle enable
    /use [button:2] repairtoggle disable
    This macro clearly does not work however you get the idea im after, if anyone can help please post on here

    I added a toggle command, so you could do this:

    /repairtoggle toggle

    That'll flip between enable/disable, so you only need one button.

    Is there a way to tie this to a macro so i can toggle on and off with the push of a button?

    I would also like to be able to customize a message to announce. which if i can make it into a macro button would be easy enough.

    Yep! Add either of these lines to your macro (first one enables repairs, second disables):
    /repairtoggle enable
    /repairtoggle disable

    perhaps you can change it to /guildrepairs toggle

    so that you can toggle it on or off with one command. i cant figure out how to put it all in one button.

    There already should be an option for that (announce to guild). I think it defaults on, try turning it off in the GUI (/repairtoggle gui).

    Some kind of minimap or LDB icon for toggling state is on my to-do list yeah. :)

    Would it be possible to have this NOT monkey with the withdraw limit? I'd love to use this to toggle repairs on/off, but our limits are tiered with rank (50/100/1000/5000) with the 1000 and 5000 having normal withdraw ability... having a toggle for "Enable Repairs Only" would make this perfect for me without hacking the Lua.
