About GuildOx

This tooltip addon takes 25+10 guild ranking data from GuildOx.com and displays the World Rank, Realm Rank and Raid Progression on player tooltips when you mouse over a player. It also works for cross-realm players. It is a great tool to help you assess the expertise of fellow players in a random heroic/battleground or to follow how other guilds on your server are doing with regards to raid progression ranking.

The tooltip information shown is "GuildOx World Rank: {worldrank} ({realmrank}) [{progess}]"

The addon is updated on a regular basis to refresh the guild ranking data.

    Hi Redaxe

    I am on DMF realm having the problem listed below that all people I click on are showing as 50,000 no update seems to be taking place, anything I can do to resolve?

    Ok now showing certain guilds, but not showing the guild I am GM of which is Upwards, we are definatly on Guildox, use the site on a regular basis, any idea why the guild would not be working?

    Hi Jakey,

    Your guild is currently ranked #53485 in the world - this is why you are showing as >50000 for your rank.

    Firstly, Thank you redaxe for putting this addon together.

    It seem's to work find for almost every guild i see apart from one. My own. 

    <The Guild of Freedom> Doomhammer EU. 

    We are

    10man 18-Server, 8557-EU, 14776-World 

    25 +10 19-Server, 9248-EU, 17721-World

    yet it only show's us as >50,000.

    I have tried updating (last update was 19:00 UK time 08-May-12) and still no change. 

    This is on both my own char and any other play in my guild that i try it on. 

    On a side note Would love to be able to just show Server / Char on Server rank.

    Hi there - I found the problem and it had to do with the upper case/lower case letters in your guild name being slightly mismatched to what is in the GuildOx database.  This will be fixed in the next addon release.  Standby.

    PS - don't forget to click on the "like" button at the top if you like the addon :)

    I am not sure I understand your question. If you are asking about the ranking data - yes, it requires updating for the ranking data to be refreshed. Let me know if this does not address what you are asking and I will try again :)

    This is not working for me one bit, all I see is "GuildOx World Rank: >50000" no matter who I look at.  I'm on Boulderfist EU.  My guild is listed as 33901 world and 18 realm for 25+10 on the website.  This is also the case with other guilds such as Wipe Club.

    I think I know what the problem with Boulderfist is.  Would you be happy to test a solution for me?

    Excellent!  Just for the record, it was an issue where the addon was thinking that UK realms were actually part of the US - it was searching for your guilds amongst the US list and could not find them.
