About GuildOx

This tooltip addon takes 25+10 guild ranking data from GuildOx.com and displays the World Rank, Realm Rank and Raid Progression on player tooltips when you mouse over a player. It also works for cross-realm players. It is a great tool to help you assess the expertise of fellow players in a random heroic/battleground or to follow how other guilds on your server are doing with regards to raid progression ranking.

The tooltip information shown is "GuildOx World Rank: {worldrank} ({realmrank}) [{progess}]"

The addon is updated on a regular basis to refresh the guild ranking data.

    On the tooltip its displayed GUILD worldranking(serverrank) correct?

    What does it rank from Guildox? Is it just the latest Tier or how much you've done in the entire expansion?

     

    The reason i ask is that on the addon it has my guild 85th on the server but on the site were considerably higher.

     

    Also have you considered displaying the character gear rank? Maybe Overallserverrank(classrank) .  May or may not be a bad idea :P

    The addon shows the 25+10 world and realm ranking. Is this the one you are looking at on the GuildOx site?

    The GuildOx addon works from a snapshot of the rankings so what you see in the tooltip will be the ranks from when the addon was last updated. I would love for it to do it in real time but this is a limitation of the API.  Looking at the chart on your GuildOx.com page, I believe the Worldrank is correct (as of when the addon was updated) but the realm rank is indeed incorrect - I found the problem and hope to have a fix out soon.

    Yes it is.

    The addon says 27936(85)

     and this is what Guildox.com has as of 6pm PST 2/13...

    Not even sure where its getting the numbers from as we dont have anything representing them and no other guilds with the same name have those numbers either. Obvously, we're not breakin' any world firsts by a long shot but id still like it to be accurate :)

    Yes, most likely - but my point was it is not even showing realm rank which it is supposed to.

    I see realm rank being more important than world rank for most situations.
