About HaloPro

== HaloPro monitors all three level 90 talents - Always land max Cascades, always be in range for dbl hitting Divine Stars, and ofc be Pro at Halo ==

--------------------------------------------

== HALOPRO OVERVIEW ==

  • Re-Written for Warlords of Draenor *

The level 90 talent Halo, offers all priests a very unique, fun ability, but one that is sometimes difficult during an encounter to reliably maximize to its full potential. Halo does the most healing and damage when cast at 25 yards to the target. This can often be a tough thing to judge.

HaloPro creates a customizable bar that can be sized and positioned anywhere in your UI. As you move closer or farther away from a tracked unit the bar's texture changes to let you know whether you need to move in or away to get in proper range (25 yards). This ensures you can accurately cast and time your use of Halo.

HaloPro now also has a built in WeakAuras mode in case you prefer weak aura style of monitoring over the custom textures.

HaloPro also goes further and monitors the other lvl 90 talents as well, to ensure you are maxing your healing or damage from Cascade, and know you are never out of range for Divine Star to hit twice.

=== Slash Commands ===

/hp or /halopro

  • 'default' - unlocks and resets bar position and size
  • 'lock' - locks down to the bar so it can't be moved or resized
  • 'unlock' - unlocks the bar so it can be moved or resized

Hello, so isn't this addon nothing else than a Range Display? There already exist these addons.

What I would prefer more, is actually showing alot of targets being in range, and not just if one target is in good range.

  • #293

These green light the proper range for the three level 90 priest talents specifcally, and show you when you need to move in or out, as well as give warnings when off cd, play sound in proper range, allow simultaneous mouseover and target range checking, lots of options.  This is a priest specific addon.

What you are asking isn't possible due to Blizzard API limitations on attackable targets.

  • #290

Anyway to make it click through?

Sometimes I rightclick on it which makes me unable to mouse look.

    Great addon ty.

  • #291

Good catch!  Bug is now fixed in version v3.6.3.0 and higher.  Mouse turning over the frame will now work, and it is click through when locked.

In my main spec (Shadow Priest), this addon works fine.  However, in my off-spec (Disc - where I also have Halo spec'd) it simply doesn't show?  Looking at the saved variable .lua file, it doesn't look like an off-spec is even recorded.

    Any fix?  Thanks!

  • #288

You have to target a friendly as disc for it to show as level 90 talents no longer do damage as a healer.

  • #289

Sorry, it does work by targetting a friendly player, although I still cannot get separate themes (which is not a big deal).

    Thanks.

  • #285

Sometimes do not appear and as a ShadowPriest we can't show it when we target an ally ?

There is no point to show on allies as Shadow because the level 90 talents no longer heal as shadow.

    Much more effcient.

Is there a option to make it hide when you enter a pet battle or am I just being blind ?

  • #280

Not specifically, but I'll add one to the Warlords 6.0 version :)

  • #284

ok got it,   helps if I unlock it first.    thanks.

  • #282

Yes you are.  There is an option to show only in combat in the options.
