About HandyNotes_Trainers
Overview
HandyNotes_Trainers allows you to track Trainer locations in HandyNotes. This is sister project to HandyNotes_Vendors which can help you track Vendors and HandyNotes_CityGuide which can help you track bankers, auctioneers and other important NPCs.
HandyNotes is base addon allowing other addons add icons to your worldmap. HandyNotes_Trainers is addon adding one icon for each Trainer you visit. Each Trainer has different icon so you can easily find out where is the trainer you are looking for standing.
HandyNotes_Trainers helps you track:
- All Class Trainers even with Portal and Pet Trainers (new in 1.2.0!)
- All Profession Trainers (Mining, Tailoring, ....)
- All Secondary Profession Trainers (Cooking, Fishing, and First Aid Trainers)
- All Skill Trainers (Weapon Masters, Riding, and Cold Weather Flying Trainers)
HandyNotes_Vendors helps you track:
- All Vendors
- All Vendors with Repair ability (Armorers)
- All Innkeepers
HandyNotes_CityGuide helps you track:
- Auctioneers
- Bankers
- Stable Masters
- Battle Masters
HandyNotes_Mailboxes from kagaro helps you track:
- Mailboxes
HandyNotes_FlightMasters from Xinhuan helps you with:
- Flight Masters (it has preconfigured database ;) )
HandyNotes_Charon (BETA) helps you track your deaths:
- Location and Time of Death
- Cause of Death (Combat Event, which caused your death)
- Spirit Healer you got released to
How you can help
- Localization
- Use the wowace's Localization tool and provide any localization phrases.
- I'm interested in: Simplified Chinese, French, Korean, Russian, Spanish, and Latin American Spanish.

Frequently asked questions
- Why it doesn't work?
- Please check if you have HandyNotes installed. Also note HandyNotes_Trainers doesn't come with preconfigured database. You can help me create one by sending me your SavedVariables file to my email: zarevak [a] gmail [point] com
- Will it work with my Map addon (Mapster, Cartographer, ...)
- Yes, it will. HandyNotes are written independently on any Map addon and if your addon doesn't screw up, it will work.
- Will it work with Cartographer?
- Cartographer notes use Cartographer_Notes addon as base for its note system. HandyNotes are using their own system independently on Cartographer. HandyNotes icons will be shown on your Cartographer, but they won't be available to addons working with Cartographer notes.

I just found one odd thing about it so far.
I ran around Undercity, to mark every trainer, and one of them popped up on the map with the Hunter mark; it was Derek the Undying, he even has the title of .
Coordinates for him: 52.6, 15.9 - in the War Quarter, closest to the War Quarter, near a claw-tank-thing.
In previous versions there was a plea to send me your SavedVariables for me to be able to create a premade database, but only one user sent me his database and it was not enough to include it into the addon. If users will sent me their databases, I will release the compiled database to the public :)
Recent Information from WowMatrix: These Addons (in bold) cannot be installed or updated at this time, because it is being hosted at either Curse or WoWInterface.
Both of those websites do not wish to have updaters connect to their sites, and have deliberately blocked updaters from doing so, starting right on the day of the 3.1 patch.
Although we do not agree with the actions of these sites, we respect their position in this matter, and are working on ways to bring you a quality selection of AddOns without connecting to these sites.
If any of these AddOns (in bold) come with a free distribution license (such as GPL, BSD, public domain, etc.), let us know and we should be able to get it back online relatively quickly by hosting it on our servers.
Otherwise, if you know the author(s) of these AddOns, you may wish to get in touch with them and see if they would like to host their
AddOn(s) on our servers, and have them contact us if they do.
In the meantime, thank you for your patience and understanding.
Here's my list of WoW AddOns. The bold AddOns are currently unable to be installed or updated through WowMatrix and I would ask you to please contact WowMatrix at http://www.wowmatrix.com/ to host your AddOn(s) on the WowMatrix servers, as this is the easiest way to update multiple addons, as well as it is less risky than using Curse client. I personally refuse to use Curse client because I have heard too many horror stories of people's WoW accounts getting compromised as a direct result of using that service.

In the Addon Cartographer_Vendors or also in Gathermate the Tooltips of the Map-Symbols, which are close to each other or which are overlapping, are summarized in one big Tooltip in which all the several Tooltips are included.
So you can read all of them at once.
Would it be possible to realise this feature in your Addon Handynotes_Vendors and Handynotes_Trainers,too? Or is this a problem of Handynotes itself?

All trainer are indicated on the map with the right symbol. The trainer for classes as well as for the professions. Many thanks for your work and the great Addon :)
