About HandyNotes_DraenorTreasures
This HandyNotes Plugin shows Draenor Treasures and Rarespawns on the Map & Minimap. (Treasures which have been looted and Rares which have been killed are automaticly hidden. The hidden elements can be reactivated in the visibility options)

Requires HandyNotes to function!
Since the WoD ItemIDs are most likely not precached in your client there will be many questionmarks when you first open a wod zonemap, if you close and reopen the map or switch back and forth between the zones the questionmarks will change to their original icons!

Greatly Optimized the Positions of a lot of treasures to be more precise
Treasures:
- Added a fishing treasure, Sparkling Pool, to Talador.
- Added a missing Adventurer's Pouch to Nagrand.
- Added a missing treasure, Gift of the Ancients, to Talador.
- Added a missing treasure, Spirit's Gift, to Nagrand.
- Reclassified the Borrok the Devourer event and Pale Fishmonger as treasures instead of rares
- Added the QuestIDs to (almost) all Gorgrond-Boulders and Gorgrond-Lumbermill Nodes and activated them by default. Please check your individual settings if you used the addon before.
- Renamed Spectator's Chest to Arena Spectator's Chest.
- Corrected the drops for the Adventurer's treasures in Nagrand – they all give green items of one kind or another
- Fixed the note for Bonechewer Spear
- Finally fixed the Shadowsight Elixir problems. (The QuestID comes back as not completed if polled directly after login. The Addon now waits for 5 seconds before polling the blizzard server, thereby getting the correct answer)
Rares:
- Updated coordinates for Dekorhan and Thek'talon in Nagrand. Dekorhan was in completely the wrong spot (the coords previously listed were for a goblin * hologram of him, not the actual rare), and Thek'talon was at one end of his patrol route (now he is in the middle of it).
- Added 3 rares to Frostfire Ridge.
- Added 6 rares to Spires of Arak.
- Added a rare to Shadowmoon Valley.
- Added Tanaan Jungle and its single rare, Keravnos, one of the level 100 rare elite hydras with no known loot.
- Corrected loot for the Protectors of the Grove trio in Gorgrond (they can drop a belt in addition to the toy)
- Added a small note for Demidos and Krud the Eviscerator that killing them rewards an achievement.
- Added a small note that Orumo the Observer needs 5 people to summon him.
2014-12-02: v.1.07:
- Added/Fixed many objects based on user feedback (i hope that the things i implemented were correct, otherwise please feel free to send me a message, so i can fix it)
- Added the Treasures in Bladespire Fortress in Frostfire Ridge
- * These are deactivated by default because there are some things i am unable to fix right now

- Beta Feature: Gorgrond Lumber Mill and Sparring Arena Treasures are added but are missing their questIDs, so they will stay active after you loot them. (You can still disable them manually through the rightclick menu) (These Nodes are turned off by default and must be activated in the DraenorTreasures options)
- Added some loot to level 100 rares (be aware that the level 100 rares can be looted daily and will not always drop their items on the first day)

- Fixed some typos and added a few notes
Special Thanks to MMOSimca for sending me a bunch of useful data which also found use in this update, especially in the cleanup department since i haven't had time to check out the treasures and rares myself lately.
2014-11-19: v.1.05:
- Disabled "Glowing Obsidian Shard" in Frostfire Ridge until someone can prove it exists (interesting fact is that the Burning Pearl Treasures marks both it's own and the QuestID of the "Glowing Obsidian Shard" as finished)
- Added a note to the "Shadowmoon Treasure" - the QuestID is definitely wrong

- "Lady Sena's Other Materials Stash" should now correctly displayed in the horde garrison (since i don't have a horde toon i can't verify this)
- Moved the Treasures in SoA which require Archaeology to a own category so you can enable/disable them if you like
- Moved "Clumsy Cragmaul Brute" from FFRare to FFTreasure and added the loot
- The "Elixirs of Shadow Sight" in Spires of Arak will now be removed from your map as soon as you loot all Gifts of Anzu | The Elixirs will still respawn but i don't know about any other uses
- Added a few missing glider notes in Nagrand
As soon as i got time i will look into the possibility to manually remove nodes and to allow you to control if a icon should be displayed on the map and/or minimap
2014-11-11: v.1.04:

- Re-added the Rares for the "Gorgrond Monster Hunter" Achievement now with correct questtracking for both alliance and horde

In Spires of Arak, there's an issue with the placement of an icon on the minimap. There's a gift of Anzu shrine for Anzu's Malice; Reshad stands in this spot for a series of quests (like Syth's Secret) but his quest icon on the minimap is entirely covered - it took me a few minutes to realize why I couldnt find this guy. Probably just needs offsetting the treasure icon for the shrine just a little to the right so the ! and ? are visible, but this could be an issue with the other shrines as well.

There is no libs\AceAddon-3.0\AceAddon-3.0-12.lua file in the official v1.09a release of HandyNotes_DraenorTreasures. There's libs\AceAddon-3.0\AceAddon-3.0.lua (note the lack of "-12"), and on line 298 there is no word "the". Maybe you didn't delete the old directory first before unpacking? Not sure.
I was wondering if perhaps you could make some changes to how the settings are saved. I'm quite a fan of the default profile in most addons, as it means I have to get the settings right just once and have the addon do what I like on all of my toons. However, with this addon some settings are per character (like the minimap icons) while some are shared with all characters (like the vl 100 rares icons)... not only is it a bit confusing to have half the settings be personal and the other half shared, but it's also rather annoying that I need to go and log to all my toons (around two dozen, so you can imagine my bother, haha) just to make sure all of them have the addon set the same way. I'd be much obliged if you'd be willing to look into this. :)
Was wondering if you plan on adding in the rares that drop the mounts (Poundfist, Nakk the Thunderer, others) as icons in the near future?
since latest update the lumber mill treasures no longer show up in gorgrond? have it checked
which particular version are you referring to. by the time of your comment i would say 1.09, but the treasures should be fixed in that version.
Messes up the Quest Objective Interface for some reason.
As a result you have to Disable it or Reload UI in order to use Items via the Quest Objective Interface.
Might be because he still hasn't fixed the _ global variable leak I reported over a month ago.

since i got the non functional quest item buttons for years i thought it probably isn't my addons fault...guess i was wrong, but there seem to be many addons with the same problem around :/
Do you mean messing things from Blizzard itself? I myself in my addons must declare at start:
local _
to prevent tainted execution? Because I see in global section in file "HandyNotes_DraenorTreasures.lua "

Declaring "local _" prevent to mess with Blizard use in theirs Quest Objective use global _ as well. Bllizzard code is protected, so anyone who does declare in global section _ will cause taint execution.
or simply fix it by editing line 14: in HandyNotes_DraenorTreasures.lua and prepend local to it, to looks like:
local PlayerFaction, _ = UnitFactionGroup("player")
The arrow in http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/draenortreasures was really nice, any way of incorporating it into this?
i kinda like the idea, didn't even know dbm provided an arrow feature. I'll look into it
With TomTom installed you can rightclick on the Note, 'add this... to TomTom...', than you have an TomTom Arrow on your Screen for the node.
