About Hermes

Hermes

Hermes tracks your raid's cooldowns, and displays them using configurable buttons or bars. What's unique about Hermes is it's ability to tell you who "does" and "does not" have a particular cooldown available. If you're a raid leader, healer, tank or anyone who has to coordinate cooldowns, you'll appreciate the approach Hermes takes.

Hermes also tracks cooldowns of non Hermes users using it's Spell Monitor feature.

Release v2.4.32 Notes

This release is a much more stable release for the 5.0 Mists of Pandaria. I've refactored a lot of the UI code so that managing the spell list requirements and adjustments can be done via the user interface.

Important: I would highly recommend that you start fresh with this addon by doing two things:

  1. Open the Hermes configuration and go to the "Maintenance" tab. Click both "Show >>" buttons and add in any new spells that are not in your inventory and also hit the "Full Reset" button for the Spell Monitor.
  2. Open the Hermes configuration and go to the "Profiles" tab. Click the "Reset Profile".

Keep in mind, that I'm aware neither of these options are required and certainly aren't the most efficient way to handle this, but it will help get your addon working with the latest code available.

This release includes significant changes since v2.2.

  • If upgrading from v2.2 or earlier, you will lose your existing container setup.

    Hi. I tried to get an answer from everywhere but couldnt find one. Whats up with Clemency talent at paladins? I cant get it work properly. Never showing the +1 Hand of protection. Anyone could help me out please (a link will do it too if the answer can be found somewhere)

    Unfortunately, Clemency is not yet supported. I've got it on the list for adding it in, but have not yet had time to get it developed.

    Can't seem to get the tracking working for Rogues: Smoke Bomb. Tried a few different ways too. Is this known or are there any suggestions i should try out first ?

    After you enter the spell, make sure you set a duration and/or cooldown for it. It is most likely not showing up because it doesn't  have a cooldown set.

    Try that out and let me know if it fixes your issue.

    could you show how some of these things the videos showed again?

    also, does have cross-realm support? i can't seem to get it to show anybody's cooldowns except for the range check.

    Is there a way to have hermes only show an ability you are tracking if it is in the raid?

    For example, I am tracking a DK's raise ally, but if I don't have a DK in the raid, I don't want this to appear at all.

     

    Is this possible?  I can't find an option for it anywhere :(.

    Certainly is. Although, it is a bit hidden. If you go to /hermes config and then ...

    Then Under the "View Settings" tab. Go to the "Behavior" option. There is a checkbox there that says "Hide Abilities without Senders"

    can you tell me how to copy the settings from this addon to another account please? i have it setup to track interupt cds of the raid so its easy for rotations, the problem is the fact i cant find how to send the settings to another player, ive tried all the normal routes.

    im after being able to send some of my guildies (melee + tanks) the profile i use so they dont have to set it up from fresh, coz people like to slack so chances of it they jus wont do it

    Still got the problem as Restoration Druid to see my own Cooldown on Tranquility.

    Other members with Hermes installed see my cooldown correctly.

    If I use Tranquility as Restoration and change spec to Balance, the cooldown ist displayed correctly for me.

    Would you mind posting a ticket for this on the curseforge.com hermes site, danny? Unfortunately, unless I have a log of the issue over on that site I tend to forget about it if it's just made as a comment on this site.
