About IceCap
IceCap is a gearing assistant for Mages. It displays the rating needed to reach the crit (Shatter) and hit caps, as well as the nearest haste breakpoints for Living Bomb, Nether Tempest, and Combustion, plus a few other things that're handy for maging.
To configure, click the new icon on your character sheet and select each buff you expect during a raid. IceCap will account for your current gear, level, race, professions, and Arcane Brilliance automatically, and assumes a boss level target for purposes of the hit cap and crit suppression.
2.4c: Shifted IceCap's attachment to avoid conflict with Outfitter.
2.4b: Moved the button to the right to resolve conflict with oQueue.
2.4a: Bug fixes for Draenei, Goblin, and lowbies.
2.4: Added support for Amplification trinkets and haste CD drums. Fixed many calculations.
2.3: Sinister meta gem parsing fix, 5.4 TOC update.
2.2: Critical calculations fixes, Frost Bomb support, tweaks, 5.3 TOC update.
2.1.1: Fixes for buffs list at level 90.

hey do this addon work and if so how do i get it to tell me the breakpoints ?
yes oqueue was conflicting with your add-on
Y'know, I think it's *technically* still there - you might catch a glimpse of the icon hiding behind your glove slot's iLvl. =)
That said, it's a far cry from being convenient, so there'll be an update shortly that'll scoot the IceCap button to somewhere nearby (look for version 2.5 if you're not using the Curse Updater).

/dump IceCap gives me a big list the end say's skipped 10 and /run IceCapSetup:Show() doesn't work
I can't replicate this with ElvUI myself, so let's dig deeper.
First, are you on ElvUI 6.92 or an earlier version? If earlier, try updating, or give me the version number so I can test that as well.
Second, locate the following file for the affected character and either post its contents to Pastebin, upload it somewhere for me to access it, or email it to my user name here at gmail.

hi i just installed your add-on and im using elvui. for some reason it does'nt show on my character sheet. also i have tried it with elvui disabled and still doesnt show. is there a command for it? it say's it's installed in the add-on page at login but i don't see it anywhere could you help me?
Do you have any other addons that alter your character sheet?
If you type "/dump IceCap", does it print "nil" or something else?
If you type "/run IceCapSetup:Show()", does the configuration menu appear?
