About Icetip

Icetip

Icetip is a simple, customizeable and powerful tooltip addon.

Feature

  1. Level coloured by diffculty.
  2. Border coloured with raid colors
  3. Backdrop coloring for guildies and friends.
  4. Border coloured with item's quality.
  5. Show target's target.
  6. Show target's tanlent information
  7. Show target's base information(health, power. etc)
  8. Raid Target Icon
  9. Show npc's reputation infomation with you (hostile, friend.. etc)
  10. Guild name and guild level displayed
  11. Custom tooltip's style
  12. Postioning Options(anchor, offset)
  13. The tooltip is shown in specific situations, not crash in the Hallow's Day.

    When I change the anchor offset, it doesnt move or do anything. Can you tell me what may be wrong.

    I can set the Anchor to Left, Right, Top(Left/Right), Bottom(Left/Right), but I can't set the Offset to anything. I set it, and nothing happens.

    Would it be possible to add an option to change the target name's color based on its class? I prefer this to the border color by class. Thanks

    Since the last update, when hovering over a player, the tooltip flashes on for a split second and then vanishes. This only seems to affect players, and not npcs or objects. I filed a ticket on this at curseforge.

    I have it set to show the talents on the tip.
    Randomly it stops showing the talent info.
    The only way I can get it to show talents again is to restart WoW.
    Not only that, it also changes the LUA saved settings to disabled so when I restart it's STILL off and I have to set it back on.
    I had to set the settings file to read only to stop it from being changed when this happens.

    Sometimes when I hold shift while pointing at a piece of equipment the additional tip is not displayed next to the first one, it's someplace else on the screen.

    Other than that everything seems fine.

    Addons which show the talent info use the inspect function, which is bugged as of 4.0.1. Inspecting can stop all of a sudden even when you're running a clean UI. Other addons believe the client isn't getting an INSPECT_READY event. There probably won't be a fix until the next patch or even until 4.1.

    Hello.

    I have a little pb with this addon. When the option : "Only Show with modifiekey" is on Shift, click on a item link don't work.

    Anyone have a solution?

    Hello. I've started using IceTip since 4.0 and it's awesome. I love it. But i keep getting this message every now and again and it seems to use a lot of memory during that time:

    "AceTimer-3.0: Warning: The addon/module 'Icetip' has 335 live timers. Surely that's not intended?"

    Is it a bug, a wrong setting or what?
