About iLvLr
Please join the Facebook group so you can share your thoughts with the developer.
iLvLr
is an add on that has been developed to conveniently provide at-a-glance information inside of the character pane. The intended purpose is to make the gearing up process more efficient. Future development will also make this process much easier to maintain across multiple characters. Current features of iLvLr include:
- iLvL of each piece of equipment
- iLvL indicator that is color coded to indicate which items are holding you back the most (red - low; white - avg; green - above average)
- Average thresh hold for iLvL indicator currently hard set to +/-10 of average equipped iLvL (determined by the typical 13 jump of each set of gear)
- Durability indicator added to replace deprecated add on DurabilityHelper (future updates to toggle this feature to show/hide/alert in works)
- Durability coloring matches that of the armored man from default UI. Green is safe, Yellow is alert, Red is Broken.
- Missing Enchant and Gem indicators implemented to determine if you are missing any enchants or gems
- Gem/Enchant indicator takes into consideration your profession for Blacksmith sockets and Enchanter's ring enchants
- Takes into account belt buckles
Slash commands are supported, but limited. The /ilvlr prefix is required and will also give version information and a list of acceptable arguments for the slash commands.
Future development includes, but is not limited to:
- Optimized code
- Currency and Money data broker to track VP/JP/CP/HP and Gold, Silver, and Copper on all characters
- Currency tracker will also have a VP/JP/CP/HP weekly cap indicator as well
- Data broker implemented to track all characters iLvL (equipped)
- Data broker implemented to track all characters Level, XP, XP to Level, and rest XP
- Data broker implemented to record the profession and skill level of that profession and provide linking of all characters
- More slash commands to allow customization of each module to some extent such as show/hide/alert modes
- Customization interface that will allow color, location, and size customizations
- Gem/Enchant indicator changed from letters to icons to allow easy:
- Slot count
- Gem count
- Color count
- Gem quality observation with colored borders
- Correct color indicator (This might happen, but many people gem different colors as the gems reward more than the bonus)
- Stat-Weight indicator that will display a list of stats in the order of priority
- Stat-Weight indicator will also have goal indicator changing indicator from red to yellow to green as you close in on your goal (such as hit cap)
- Equipped iLvL on inspect of another player (this will only show equipped iLvL. This will display in the inspect pane and possibly the tool tip)
I only ask you to be patient as I have a wife, kids, full-time job, college, and 10 85's in my raiding guild. Skill Helper is being worked on actively, but nothing is completed to a point of satisfaction to pass through my own standards.

Any word on a update for patch 5.2
Just pushed an update today. Been busy with college and got informed that an update hadnt been made for some time =/
I don't check back here very often anymore. I will get one of the current authors to take a look at things.
There is a hacked workaround for finding the upgraded iLevel of an item

Thank you for the info, Ill see about messaging Troox about this. Ive been hesitant to work on code as im not up to what hes currently working on.
The addon is mostly working with 5.1, its just not showing the upgraded ilvl of gear upgraded with justice or valor points.
There is still no good way to pull the ilevel of an upgraded item :(

I just uploaded 2.0.105 for Troox. He has had some authentication issues with the repository. Hopefully this will resolve some of your issues.
Mementh: In the information above for the add on there is a Project Site link. If you are experiencing a bug then go to the project site and there is a ticket system you can use to report errors there. Give the new update a try as it could have already resolved your problem. If you could give some screen shots when you submit a ticket that will help the active authors.
Small bug i am finding and i don't know how to get you info..
But there will be times when its just showing durability and then i change something equipment wise and then it iwll show the Ilvls again
Let me know what i can do to get you data for this please.
Call this a little interference...
First things first... Problems were reported for the 103 release after the 104 release was out. Granted I think you meant 104 and there does sound like there is a memory leak.
Second thing there is another author attempting to take over my project after Blizzard made major changes to the Paperdoll frame that drives the entire add-on. You all need to excercise patience with them and properly report issues using the ticket system on Curse Forge with World of Warcraft LUA errors and if possible Screen Shots. I never have supported any add-ons outside of my own and you should NEVER expect an author to support errors reported by third parties.
Third the reports and the assistance is very much appreciated by both myself and the new author(s). As you all should have figured out by now... I quit WoW and consequentially I quit developing these add-ons. Until an author has a solid lock on the code or rewrites it entirely you will all need to excercise patience. This is a volunteer job and these authors have real lives that are far higher priority than anything that can occur within a video game.
Again, thank you all for your assistance in troublshooting and please use the proper reporting system at curseforge so that we can properly track these issues.
Thank you for your patience.
2.0.104 doesn't work fine. When I login. It didn't show anything. I have to reload UI. Then It works fine. But, I change to another character. It didn't show LVLr.
Confirmed, ADDON_LOADED isn't firing in time. Not sure why having it in function wraper would matter

Guessing 2.0.103 wasn't tested very much. loged in and about 1/2 my items have iLevel, the other 1/2 have durability (turned that off a long time ago).
I'm sorry but the code implementation of this shouldn't be to hard, look at my addons, Simple iLevel and LibInspect. Same idea just NotifyInspect('player'), wait for INSPECT_READY with arg1 = UnitGUID('player') then loop for i = INVSLOT_FIRST_EQUIPPED, INVSLOT_LAST_EQUIPPED do local itemLink = GetInventoryItemLink(target, i); end

Have you ried the addon on its own w/o others loaded?
If not check to see if it really is the coding not working.
But im better that its iLvLr interacting badly with another addon that you are using. And The coding cannot be figured out w/o knowning what its not playing well with. As the coding for the addon is not your typical addon coding.
Thanks for the feedback. Ill use this helpful info to see what i can do to lessen the repeative addon running. And some other cleaning up in the coding.
I knew the code needed cleaning up when i started looking into it some time ago. Im trying to help out the best i can, but with college, a guild to run, and actually learning the way to code things for wow and all its a learning curve for me. (Which i want to do to help me do some changes to another addon)
