About InCombatIndicator

InCombatIndicator displays "In combat" if you are in combat in a movable frame. Optionally it can also display "Out of combat" when not in combat, but this is off by default. The frame can be moved, resized and locked.

Type: /ici

for options.

It's meant as a simple, flexible additional way to indicate if you are in combat independent of unit frames, where this information is often displayed by the crossing sword icon (default UI) or some other mean (color for some unit frames).

Is there a way to make a version of this that monitors the combat status of your target? That way you know if your target can start drinking, or get sapped, etc. in pvp. I really like this addon, and definitely could find a lot of uses for it as an Enemy InCombatIndicator.

Would be nice if this optionally included a timer of how long you've been in combat.

Would be even cooler if it could optionally also display your afk/dnd state, since the indicator on the nametag above my character's head is sometimes inaccurate (eg after I die).

I don't get it-- this is displaying Out of Combat and there's no option to hide that.

it would add a small timer (i think it was like 6 secs) to a frame and continuously countdown, until an action in combat reset it. you swing, get hit, cast, whatever and it reset. it was never hidden, always just bouncing back up to the max value.

Is this addon something like that? If so, i would love it.

That's a good idea; especially for those rogues re-entering stealth.

New version that uses Ace3 and updated libraries in general. Also options can now be found in Blizzard's addon config gui. Libraries are now included so unlike the previous versions this should work out of the zip.

I was wondering if there was a way to be notified when my pet is out of combat (since I don't really have to be in combat for my pet to be out of combat)?

Uploaded updated version for 2.2. Also includes font selection now. Needs Ace's Shared Media Library but works without.
