About Isle of Thunder Weekly Check
Slash commands:
- /iwc opens the main frame
- /iwc print prints the ouput in the chatframe
Ths Isle of Thunder has a few "once per week" events for every character. These are not account wide so you can complete these events with every level 90 character, but it's not easy to remember which character has killed a rare.. or whether you should be looking around the isle for a trove. That's where "Isle of Thunder Weekly Check" can be very handy. It opens a window with a list of possible events and whether or not the current character has completed them.
We only know of 7 once a week "events" at the moment:
- Dropping the rare key for the single player Scenario "Troves of Thunder".
- Looting the Shan'ze stone from the first rare monster killed.
- Opening a trove around the island (the yellow chest) which rewards a Shan'ze stone.
- Completing the quest "Champions of the Thunder King"
- Completing the quest "The Crumbled Chamberlain". This weekly quest is not available in stages 1 and 2. It starts by finding a piece of the statue around the isle marked with the yellow quest exclamation point.
- Looting one of the summoning incantations (It seems that once you loot one of the three you can not loot another, even of the other two types, for the rest of the week.)
- Looting Nalak, the Storm Lord (the world boss)

Actually, there does not seem to be a lock on looting the summoned npcs at all.
Once you loot an incantation you can't loot another one for that week, it's the item that you use to summon them

And on that note of keeping tabs on things to do, how much of a stretch would it be to possibly add other quests/weekly to the list? I've wanted a customizable in game to do list for a long time!

No sorry, I want to keep this addon restricted to the Isle of Thunder only.

Couple of suggestions from one random guy to another:
Any chance you could add an option to hide the minimap button?
Also, a plain text output of statuses to the chat window would be cool instead of a separate window, like WorldBossStatus.
Definitely, a way to hide the minimap button would be great. A lot of people use data addons where you can add stuff like this to it (Broker, the Datatexts of ElvUI, etc), so the minimap button becomes redundant and useless clutter. I'd appreciate it, as well. Thanks for a helpful addon! :)

I added this option :)
It's a brown map icon in the bottom-left corner of the main frame (which can be opened either by typing /iwc or by clicking on the broker/minimap button itself)
Maybe I made it too camouflaged, sorry for that!
The only thing the addon tracks about rares is the possibility to loot a Shan'ze Ritual stone from it, which is weekly

Would it be possible to add on a list of rares you've killed daily (I know, kind of in the spirit of the addon, kind of not)? Or more specifically, looted a Tome of Valor from. I know from my testing that I haven't been able to loot a second Tome from the same rare the same day, but after the daily reset everything is available again.
Also, I honestly hadn't known the Trove & Incantations were 1 use/drop per week, but that makes much more sense now.
Edit: Also possibly add completion of the weekly for the Shado-Pan Assault, Champions of the Thunder King
You can actually loot the same rare multiple times a day. I've killed most of the rares at least 2-4 times a day just for the tome.
The quest "The Crumbled Chamberlain" is only ptr for now, at least not optainable in stage 1 or 2.
