WoW Game Version: 4.3.0
Release Date: 10th January 2012
Modules: Core, Display-Team, Follow, FTL, ItemUse, Macro, Proc, Purchase, Quest, Sell, Talk, Target, Taxi, Toon, Trade

New module: Target

Jamba Version: 0.8
WoW Game Version: 4.2.0
Release Date: 21st July 2011
Modules: Core, Display-Team, Follow, FTL, ItemUse, Macro, Proc, Purchase, Quest, Sell, Talk, Taxi, Toon, Trade

Display-Team
    * Clique / ClickToCast can now be used with the health and power bars!
    * You can now choose to display the team list horizontally.

Item Use
    * All items have been removed from the bar.  You will need to add them back in.
    * Item Bar will now take mounts, non-combat pets, spells and maybe other things if you are lucky.  Items still work.
    * Item Bar items now have tooltips and cooldowns and flashes and the kitchen sink and other nifty features and I need cookies!
    * New option, if checked, will automatically add usable quest items and items that start a quest to the item bar.
    * Maximum amount of items increased to 20.
    * New row slider lets you choose how many rows of items to display your items in.

Sell
    * New option to auto-sell lower-tiered unusable soulbound armor types.  For instance, if set, a paladin would sell all soulbound mail, leather and cloth armour types (not weapons, not rings, not necklaces and not trinkets).  If you turn this option, be careful with cloaks (equip them if you want to keep them when you get them).

Trade
    * New option to adjust money with master on trade.  If this option is turned on, anytime a slave toon trades with a master toon, the slave toon will automatically load any excess money over the amount specified into the trade window ready for trading.

Team
    * New option - activate click-to-move on slaves and deactivate on master when switching master.

Quest
    * If choose best reward option selected and the claim sub-option is off, when a toon completes a quest, the others in the party will complete it as well, rather than you having to click complete quest on each toon.

Quest Watcher
    * The quest watcher will no longer assume that all quests have been completed when a certain combination of settings is selected.  Thanks to ElectronDF for being persistent about this bug!

Proc
    * The 4.2.0 patch changed the combat log unflitered event which broke procs notification. Fixed.
    * When procs are used, they should be removed from the screen properly.  Please tell me if this is not the case.
    * Added the following procs: Killing Machine, Fulmination!, Sword and Board, Taste for Blood, Power Torrent.  If you already have these procs, you will need to remove the duplicates.

Jamba Version: 0.7g
WoW Game Version: 4.1.0

    * Update for Patch 4.1.0, including new Ace3 Comm libraries which implement WoW's new addon channel prefix registration system.
    * Fixed client freeze when typing /jamba (worked around rare bug with Ace3 GUI's Fill layout).

Quest
    * Option to automatically choose best reward for toon and complete quest has been split into two parts, one part is the option to choose best reward and part two is an option to complete the quest, claiming the best reward as well.
    * The choose best reward for toon function has been improved (used and modified code provided by Mischanix via jamba.uservoice.com) and should be much better at picked in the best reward than previously.

Toon - Merchant
    * Repair with guild funds should be working again now (bug fix was to check against repair with guild funds permission instead of the can withdraw guild money permission).

Toon - Currency
    * Added option to show currency list on startup.

Proc
    * The 4.1.0 patch changed the combat log unflitered event which broke procs notification. Fixed.

Quest

    * Mirroring now works for the new complete quest button in the quest log and also for the "in the field" complete quest button found in the Objective Tracker as well.
    * Now mirrors accept quest for quests that have been auto accepted by the game (commonly found in newbie areas < level 6).

Quest Watcher

    * Will now display new "in the field" complete quest and quest offer buttons (these are similar to the buttons found in the objectives tracker).
    * Objective headers now collapse when a new quest is tracked (there is currently no option to change this).

    * New option to choose which chat window the fake whispers are sent to.
    * Fixed a lua error with RealID messages.

    /jamba-follow snw

Core: Settings

    * Settings are no longer tied to the Blizzard Addon area and are now in their own window. The window can be shifted around, and is a lot larger than the previous area. Opps.  Sorry, there was a problem with the package.  It's fixed now.  Please update again.

  • #41

Having problems with communication channels. For some reason Jamba wants to sit in channel 1. and in doing so, causes QuestHelperLite to site in channel 2. This is pretty annoying as those are gen/trade, and i go to lengths to make certain channels don't get re-ordered.

Also, it would be good to have a command to enable/disable Jamba completely, when i'm done multi-boxing, without having to logout to disable the addon loading. Just something to turn off all of the windows when i'm done.

  • #42

    Hey,

I put specific code in Jamba so that it would not try and grab channels for about 10 seconds after loading to let WoW get /1 etc.  I think some addons like Prat stopped this from working.  Can you try just with Jamba as the only addon and see if Jamba grabs channel 1?  Please let me know what you find.

Alternatively, don't use channels at all, by checking the "always assume all team members online" and your channel grabbing problem should go away.

The addon: Addon Control Panel is probably your best chance at disabling/enabling Jamba before I get to adding functionality into Jamba.  You can configures sets of addons with it, so you could have a multiboxing set and a solo set of addons.

Hope that helps some, looking forward to your reply re: the channel grabbing.

    Cheers,

    Jafula.

So turns out it was a conflict with Elvui and Jamba's auto accept group invites. All fixed now tho.
  • #38
I seem to be having some issues with my teams in Jamba. Then i invite all my toons with the isboxer shortcut + + all toons join the group as they should then one just leaves. I have tried manually inviting the toon and the same thing happens. I also have the same problem on another team however all of the toons immediately leave after they join the group.
  • #39
Ok it seems that now whenever I restart my computer another toon has the same issue as mentioned above. I have tried disabling Jamba and the problem goes away. It just makes it a little harder to run all of my toons. Any assistance at all would be greatly appreciated.

    Item Use
The Item use bar is a wonderful way to get your whole team to use items at the same time. Some examples of the awesomeness of the Item Bar are :

Using Quest Items. Some quests can get done blazingly fast if you use an item at the same time on everyone. There are even quests where 1 kill can get you credit up to 5 times if everyone does it at the same time.

Equipping items. If you run a team that is all the same class, you can drop a quest reward in the Item bar, use the hotkey and your whole team will find and equip it. No more searching your bags on all your toons to find a new piece of gear. If you're running the Argent Dailies or doing jousting in TotC, you can just drop your lance here and everyone will use it at the same time.

Using consumables. Got a slew of alchemists in your team? Maybe you run a gaggle of life-tap happy warlocks. You can drop pretty much any consumable, from food to potions, to bandages, even your hearthstone in the Item window to get everyone to use them at the same time.

Key Bindings}. Scroll down towards the bottom and look for the Jamba-Item-Use section. Assign your keybinds for the bar on EACH team member.

To use the Item Bar, drag the item from your bag on your main toon and drop it in the proper spot on the bar. Your slaves will automatically receive this information from your main and put the item in the same place on their bars. Now all you have to do is press the hotkey you assigned and everyone uses the same item at the same time.

To remove an item from the bar, just drag it off and click off the bar. Your slaves will automatically do the same.

Hi just want to say your addon is really great except I can not figure out how to move the quest tracker. It is sitting in the middle of my screen and id like to move it off to the side.

In the quest watcher options, there is a checkbox that will unlock the watcher position. Hold alt and left drag to move the watcher around.
