Jejin Soundtrack Project (also/previously known as the Warcraft Soundtrack Project) is a Soundtrack sound pack and an ongoing project of original fan-music composed by Nicholas Potter (Jejin), Alex Hill Smith (http://www.youtube.com/user/ComposerSyterious), Julian Wyatt Smith (http://www.youtube.com/user/ComposerKuandohan), and Sam Pierce of slashdance fame (http://filmcraft.org/) for a variety of vanilla dungeons and ingame events, including:

How to Install and Use:

1. Download Soundtrack- http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/soundtrack.aspx (If you don't want to add any other custom music, only download Soundtrack and disregard other instructions for the addon. It'll send you a pop-up in-game to verify your decision.).
2. Download Jejin Soundtrack Project.
3. Log in to World of Warcraft. Make sure Soundtrack and Jejin Soundtrack Project addons are enabled.
4. Load 'er up! Go to the Options page of Soundtrack, select "JejinSoundtrackProject" from the projects drop down menu, and hit the Load button.
5. ???
6. Profit... er, enjoy Vanilla WoW dungeons a little more with new music!

FAQ

Your music doesn't really sound like WoW music!
Indeed it doesn't! My goal is not to musically replicate what has been established as 'warcraft' music, but to explore different sounds and musical styles that can heighten the emotion, story arc(s), and general aesthetic feel of the dungeons. If you look at the history/evolution of warcraft's music, you'll see a very wide range of styles and timbres, many of which deviate from the previously accepted 'sound' of the game. If you're at all skeptical about the music, I implore you give it a try before you make a judgment!

Can I contribute to the project at all?
Yes you may! I have a few contacts already who I am collaborating with on the music, so if you wish to add to the project in any way, shape, or form, then email me at Warcraftsoundtrackproject@gmail.com, and I'm sure we'll be able to work something out! You will receive full artistic credit for your work!

The music sounds fine when I use the addon ingame, but the sound quality isn't that great on my ipod! I want good quality sound!
I'm currently looking into improving the quality of the compressed Mp3 files, so I'm aware of this problem. If you would like to hear the songs of the project in HD quality, then check out the project's youtube (http://www.youtube.com/user/WowSoundtrackProject).

Hey, could I use your music in a video/machinima/project of my own?
Yes and no. As long as you contact Jejin and get permission, you may use the tracks for your project (ex. a machinima video). However, plagiarism and outright theft will not be tolerated. Even though this music is available for free via Curse.com, and though it does not belong to Blizzard Entertainment, that does not give anyone permission to steal the music, completely behind the author's back, and claim it as their own work. I hate to sound like a downer, but take this as a warning.

Will the project be updated soon?
Hopefully! The next release should include: Higher Quality Mp3 tracks (with improved VST's)
