About KAHolyPower

Overview:

The default Paladin Holy Power UI looks nice, but it's very inconveniently located under the player frame in the top left of the screen, making it difficult to see. This addon provides a very basic moveable Holy Power display. You can move it around, resize it, lock it in place, and toggle between displaying 3 boxes or the default Holy Paladin rune graphic.

Chat Commands:

/hp scale # - Scale the display between 10% and 1000%.

/hp lock - Lock or unlock the display.

/hp reset - Reset the display to it's default values.

/hp graphic OPTION - Toggle between the different graphic settings (rune,rune2,box1,box2,box3,box4,box5).

/hp sound - Toggle on or off the sound file that plays at 3 Holy Power.

/hp anim - Toggle on or off the animation that plays at 3 Holy Power.

/hp config - Toggle the configuration UI.

    Alternative to Xperl HP

    Recently my holy power display stopped working in XPerl and I found this to be a great alternative, especially since I have always been partial to the original blizzard art which is included in this addon. Great job!

    I have an issue with sound of 3 stack Holy Power . I can't set it . I select "play sound effect..." but when i close widow , automatically disselect. It doesn't work. What part of sound options is responsible for that addon voice ?

    Great addon, but i cant remove the white backround from the addon, chosing any kind of skin, so i can see all the time a white block on my UI - any solutions m8 ?

    Hey MaCDrG;

    The "white background" means the addon is unlocked, allowing you to move it around. To lock it, type "/hp lock", or "/hp config" and click the "Lock" checkbox. Hope that helps!

    I should explain my last comment abit more detailed, I apologize.
    All Holy Power graphic backround/borders do work except "Standard Holy Power button"
    I've always been using this graphic, But when I recently updated KaHolyPower- the standard button graphic didn't show up on the screen, But I can still unlock the bar and place it wherever I want. After several reinstalls the same problem occurs.

    Hello there, I just updated KaHolyPower and figured out that the Standard Holy Power bars stopped working in this update.

    Try typing "/hp config" and check if the "Show Default Holy Power" option is turned on.

    If you are talking about the KAHolyPower graphic options, they've changed, and you might need to re-select them to get them to show up. Try typing "/hp config" and selecting the graphic from the drop-down.

    Let me know if you still have issues.

    Just to say that i really like this addon, but the last version doesn't load in WoW, it states that it's out of date, but it worked well until last update wich i made yesterday.

    It looks like I updated the version number to 4.3 KAHolyPower a little early!

    Oops :p

     

    It should continue to work fine with 4.2, you'll just have to check the "Load out of date addons" checkbox. In the meantime I have reverted the version back to 4.2

    I love KAHolyPower for my Ret main. Seems like the vast majority of rune/HP/whatever display mods just stick something ugly and business minded on. I'd love to see somethign like this for DKs, so I can have the original rune art but in a more conveniant location.

    wow this is amazing... I personally love the default holy power bar, and since xperl has added their own version of it, it kinda sucks.

    couple of suggestions though, would it be possible to make the chains on the default grapic come out of the bottom instead of the top (without changing the rune graphic)? also, it would be great to include Warlock, DK, and Balance Druid options into the addon. :)

    If you could add the ability to rotate for vertical orientation, that would be really helpful! Also, the ability to choose the growth direction and color of the bars would be very helpful. Otherwise a terrific addon. More to the point than most Holy Power addons. Thanks!
