About KAHolyPower

Overview:

The default Paladin Holy Power UI looks nice, but it's very inconveniently located under the player frame in the top left of the screen, making it difficult to see. This addon provides a replacement for the default Holy Power graphic that can be positioned wherever you want.

Chat Commands:

  • /hp - Opens the configuration UI
  • /hp lock - Lock or unlock the display.
  • /hp reset - Resets KAHolyPower to default settings.

Release Notes:

  • v2.2.9 - Replaced the height/width sliders with a "resize grip".
  • v2.2.8: Added FrameStrata editor. Added "Rune Graphic Background Hiding. Removed ToolTip.
  • v2.2.5: Added Rune Graphic scaling.
  • v2.2.1: Added support for the new 5.0.4 Rune graphic.
  • v2.1.0: Updated for WoW 5.0.4. The Rune graphic is currently not supported.
  • v2.0.0: BETA version for MoP. The addon has been completely rewritten to be easier to configure, more responsive, and less resource intensive.

    Hi there, love the addon and I hope you keep on updating it!  Just one thing, is it possible to make it so the bar can be stacked vertically?  I use CLCRet and there is a perfect gap for the bar to sit, between the "current attack to use" box and the "next one coming up" box.  At the moment it sorta sits underneath the current attack box.

    the smallest setting with the new resize method is way too tall, please allow us to make it smaller

    how can I resize more smaller.

    it's height is still tall for me.

    I love this addon so much and Im happy you decided to implament the rune graphic again. I just have one problem even though the holy power is hidden and locked I cant seem to click through it. I use right click a lot to turn while mounted and whenever I click the spot where KAHolypower is it doesn't register. If you could fix this it would be the perfect holy power addon. Thanks again for all your hard work!

    Version 2.2.9 is now available with one change:

    • Resizing the Holy Power bar no longer uses the height and width sliders; now you resize by using the "grip" on the bottom right of the holy power bar. This (IMO) makes it much easier to resize the bar.

    Version 2.2.8 is now available with three changes:

    • Added FrameStrata editor.

    Please note that the KAHolyPower configuration window (accessed via /hp) may be incorrectly sized. You can resize it by dragging the bottom right corner of the window.

    I've used this addon since 4.0 dropped, and I love it. Thank you so much for all the work you've done!

    The rune graphic background hiding seems to only be half implemented in this update. Background is hidden until I hit three HP, then goes back to the default graphic.

    I appreciate you putting the option back in, since this is the config I always used. Just wanted to let you know it's a bit wonky.

    Is it maybe possible to have Rune graphic without the background like the one before. It used look to integrated like an aura. Thanks.

    Working on it. It's available in the BETA release at http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/kaholypower/ if you want to try it out early.

    I'm also working on the Frame Strata request from Boronak, but there are some bugs.

    Thank you very much for getting the graphics to work <3. 

    I have one slight annoyance left, why when I hover over where the holy power bar is, does a tooltip come up? Oh ok that's actually something blizzard has done :(. My annoyance with it, is if i wanted to select something where the holy power bar is, and if I had no background it would be easy to see, I can't because the 'tooltip' is coming up.  

    Not really a problem you can fix I expect since it's blizzard doing...just wondering if anyone has any suggestions? I tried turning tooltips off and it still shows up :( (both addon and default bar).

    Is there any way to resize the rune graphic, I just want to scale it up a bit. Thanks for the great addon otherwise
