KQuote plays audio quotes based on chat messages from other KQuote- or WoWQuote-Users.

IMPORTANT

You need to install the KQuote addon and at least one media package!

KQuote is based on WoWQuote by Lev@Die Ewige Wacht and Harag@Die Ewige Wacht. Many thanks to both of them!

KQuote introduces some new features over WoWQuote (v0.x):

• English Localization
  KQuote has an english localization. (Most of the actual quotes are still German only. Visit the official website to see how you can build your own media add-ons.)
• Mute
  Use /kqm to mute KQuote. Typing /kqm a second time will re-enable playback. This setting is not remembered after logout.
  You may assign a key to this function, using WoW's Options – Key Bindings dialog.
• Tags
  Instead of a single category for a quote KQuote uses tags. The difference is that a quote may have multiple tags assigned to it.
• Search Field
  There's a text input field in the upper right of the KQuote window. Entering a search term will filter the quote list to only display quotes that contain that term. This does work in combination with the tag pop up.
• Quick Search
  Adding a search term at the end of the /kq command will insert that term into the window's search field. /kq -t <tag> will select the corresponding entry in the tag pop up menu.
• Separate Media AddOns
  With KQuote the actual media data was moved to separate add-ons. So those can be added and updated independently.

Think about KQuote as a player like iTunes.
It does not contain the actual sound data. You need to install additional addons for that.

KQuote erlaubt es, Ton-Zitate über den in WoW eingebauten Chat an andere KQuote- oder WoWQuote-Nutzer zu verschicken.

WICHTIG

Du mußt das KQuote-AddOn und mindestens ein Media-AddOn installieren!

KQuote bietet gegenüber WoWQuote (v0.x) einige Vorteile:

• Mute
  Mit /kqm kann man KQuote stummschalten. Nochmalige Eingabe von /kqm schaltet die Tonausgabe wieder an. Diese Einstellung wird beim Ausloggen nicht gespeichert.
  Der Mute-Funktion könnt ihr unter Optionen – Tastaturbelegung auch ein Tastenkürzel zuweisen.
• Tags
  Statt Kategorien benutzt KQuote Tags. Der Unterschied ist, daß ein einzelnes Zitat mehrere Tags haben kann. (Ihr könnt Euch natürlich auch vorstellen, daß es mehreren Kategorien zugeordnet ist.)
• Suchfeld
  In das Feld oben rechts im KQuote-Fenster kann man einen Suchtext eintragen. Es werden dann nur die Zitate angezeigt, deren Beschreibung den entsprechenden Text enthält. Dies funktioniert auch in Verbindung mit der Tag-Auswahl.
• Schnellsuche
  Gibt man beim Aufruf von KQuote hinter /kq einen Suchtext an, wird dieser automatisch in das Suchfeld des KQuote-Fensters eingetragen. /kq -t <tag>> wählt das entsprechende Tag aus.
• Separate Media-AddOns
  In KQuote sind die eigentlichen Media-Daten in getrennten AddOns untergebracht.

Es enthält keine Tondaten. Dafür müssen separate AddOns installiert werden.
