About LevelBuddy - Share XP With Friends
Description
LevelBuddy is an addon for use between friends who want to see each other's XP on their own XP bar. The options can be found by typing "/levelbuddy".
Features
- Show your friends' XP on your own XP bar
- Works with WoW friends and Battle.net friends (that are on the same realm/faction at the time)
- Show XP markers for all guildies who are using LevelBuddy
- Class coloured XP markers
- Change marker shape, width, height, offset, opacity and more!
- Detailed XP information when mousing over a marker
- Display the XP markers on either the default xp bar, the LevelBuddy custom bar, or not at all (also has built in support for BasicExperienceBar, XPBarNone and BetterEXP)
- LDB plugin support (and the ability to track 1 friend in the display addon)
Instructions
How to get a friend's XP on your XP bar:
- Download and install LevelBuddy. You must get your friend to download and install it too.
- Both of you need to type "/levelbuddy" and click the "Connect XP" options category
- Type in each others character names in the "Name" box and click "Add"

What have you done to try get it to "show up"? Does the options panel work? Have you enabled Lua errors in the "Help" section of interface options to see if the addon is giving you some errors?
This is a bit of a deal-breaker for me, as I dislike the standard bars. I'd love it if you could fix this! Let me know if you need help. (Side note: I'm using guild send/show.)
This is also having some weird behavior in general - the options pane seems not to work if you ONLY load LevelBuddy. Maybe check to make sure all your variables are "local" and you embed the libraries you need.
If a player is higher/lower than you, there is an option to change the opacity of the marker (which I think is set to about 0.6 by default).
