LFG++:


  • Rate other players

  • Know how others Rate you

Sicked of Endless Noob/Loot Whore in the LFG system? Tired of always having to alt-tab to wow armory to check up every player before going on a PUG?

Well, LFG++ aims to be the ultimate solution to all your Looking For Group Problems. By enhancing the current LFG system, users are provided with details about each player Peer Ratings, Gears and even Talent even before inviting them into group.

LFG++

By Clicking on the 'Inspect' button user can see his gear without having to access wow armory. The Player's Talent is also available.

Inspect

While in group, LFG++ allows user to rate the player they have played with(clicking on the mini map icon), this will the affect the over rating of that player as reflect by the LFG++ system.

Rate

LFG++ also allows you to query information about any player in game. By Right Clicking on the LFG++ Mini map Icon. A Textbox will appear on screen. Enter the Player you will like to query and press enter.

Search

The System will the query for the player information and return whatever information that is available.

This addon relies heavily on a modified version of the Popular Examiner Addon By Ryn/Nadi (Earthen Ring EU). Full Credit of the Inspection interface should be given to him.

Fix most of the bug that occurs due to the recent 3.1.0 patch.

Instructions:
1.Delete any old version of Examiner and LFG++.
2.Unzip and extract Examiner and LFG++ into /wow/interface/addon

    it works on people I've grouped with but not on random peeps. Also it doesn't do talents (anymore).

    I'm running enUS Client on a US-server. It doesn't seem to access any info. I type in a name and all I get is the name lvl is blank class is ??, Rating N/A (expected), Gear button is grey, and Talent is N/A. It does work on myself tho. so I think it's an interface issue. Haven't tried it on LFG peeps yet. Good luck. it sounds like a good addon. Patches are always trouble.

    I just installed the addon. I am running an enGB Client on a EU-Server. My problem is, if i click a player, it says "N/A" in all fields after a while. I cannot even inspect the gear of the player. Any way to retrieve some debug info to analyze and send out to you?

    Hi Alifar,
    may i know what you are doing when the error occurs? Are you able to repeat the errors in a few simple steps? It will be great if you can provide me with the details.

    Is there a way to rate a player after I've/they've left the group? If not, it would be a nice feature to be able to rate even after they've left the group.

    There is no way you can do that at the moment. This was part of the addon design as it ensure the integrity of the ratings because users can only rate players that they have party with.

    Great mod, especially in combination with Examiner which allows you to rate a raid/party for future reference and search for previously inspected characters with the Examiner mod.

    Hi Aurleis,
    Thanks for your support. As stated in the addon credit, this addon relied on a Modified version of Examiner. At such in order for it to work properly, you should download and used the Examiner that is provided by LFG++.

    Hi everyone,
    sorry for the long wait, the recent patch update really caused quite a mess. This release should solve most of the problem that occurs due to patch 3.1.0. We are currently working on a new version with new features and better search result, so stay tune~

    Hello iewnait, this addon looks great, however is not working in current build. Is there any ETA on the update or are you still very busy?

    Our University Exam are finally over~. As promised, we are now back to work on LFG++ once again. It will be great if everyone can assist in reporting all bugs that they encounters to iewnait@gmail.com in the following format.

    To better work on the known bugs and add new features to LFG++, we are currently thinking of working closely with a group of users to better test the addon, as there is only so much testing the four of us can do. As LFG++ require a "sizeable" user pool, it will be great if any guild out there is interested in working closely with us. Nonetheless, if anyone of you is interested, please email me at iewnait@gmail.com, please state your server/faction/nickname/guild so i can get back to you in game.

    I LOVE this addon. Even though there seems to only be about 4 of us with it on Bonechewer...I hope that number will grow. Currently I must keep it disabled since 3.1 was released. Hopefully it can be fixed asap. But, I understand with exams and everything.

    Just keep up the great work! ^_^
