About LittleWigs

Description

To put it simply, these are BigWigs modules that add some warnings to the bosses found in 5-man instances.

Usage

Drop this folder into the Addons folder like any other addon. It automatically integrates with BigWigs. Should you desire not to see some of the modules in the menu because you feel you don't want them, just delete the corresponding bosses .lua file or the entire zone folder.

Additional Requirements

The latest version of BigWigs Bossmods.

Contributing

LittleWigs is an open SVN repository, the best way to contribute is to add your changes directly.

    Plus it's just stoped to work after recent updates.

    Getting spammed with things like:

    "The addon "LittleWigs_Zul'Drak" is using the old way of registering when to load it's content, please tell author to fix it and update your copy."

    This is a result of a change in BigWigs. Cata modules have been updated. I should be able to update LK soon and someday I'd like to revamp BC too, but maintaining the old content is more difficult.

    Hey, in the release code a while back you said:

    But the SpellID's for Godfrey (didn't check the others yet) are all for the non-heroic one...when I ran it tonight I had no alerts for de-cursing the Cursed Bullets. I modified the ID's in mine manually, but they'll need an update.

    Is it intended that most of the bosses only have one event/skill, which is their death? So far, on nearly all the heroic five-man boss fights I have done, the only thing LittleWig tells me is when they die. A few show enrage timers, and there is support for up/down wind. But I'm just wondering is this a work in progress?

    I didn't have much help during the beta, so yes, it's still a work in progress. I don't know which heroics you have or haven't done. Also the bosses that only have kill messages have been disabled until they get some meat to them. I'm perfectly happy to take suggestions on bosses/abilities if you have something that would useful. Personally I prefer the add what seems useful approach, as opposed to add everything, which sometimes means until I do an encounter for myself I can't always tell what's useful.

    There's a little bit of a conflict between LittleWigs and BigWigs, which causes this:
    "WARNING: Anub'arak (Bosses) already exists as a module in Big Wigs, but something is trying to register it again. This usually means you have two copies of this module in your addons folder due to some addon updater failure. It is recommended that you delete any Big Wigs folders you have and then reinstall it from scratch."
    The result - depends to which config you get first, Dragonblight or Trial of Crusader, the boss fight for 1 of those gets disabled/vanishes from config.
    This is apperently caused by same .lua name for Anub'Arak. Hope you can fix it. Thanks.

    Hi. I really want to replace DBM with BigWigs. Problem is, I went to Forge of Souls today. And LittleWigs failed to show who has Bronjahm's Corrupted Soul. Not only that, when I came to Devourer of Souls, I had no idea who had Mirrored Soul. Am I doing something wrong here? Is there a command to see if LittleWigs is enabled at all?

    I'm a bit of dissapointed, sorry.

    Yea, something must have been wrong. Both those things definitely happen. The LittleWigs modules work just like the BigWigs modules. You should be able to mouse over the orange BigWigs icon dealy and it will tell which modules are enabled. I've run these instances many times and received these warnings. Perhaps BigWigs was disable altogether or something?

    Is there anyway that you could add "STOP DPS!" when Someone gets Mirrored Soul on normal and heroic FOS? I'm sick of wiping to rogues that don't stop.

    Or you can just tell me where and what to change to do this myself?

    why was the icon removed for mark of the overlord in the Scourgelord Tyrannus fight? it made it very easy to explain to people "stop DPS or healing if you have {skull}. run away from other players if you have {cross}"

    P.S. In the meantime you might be able to download an old version and look at the files to see what changed and just add that feature back by hand for now.

    Mostly because it was annoying me. :) I'll add it back, you make a good point, I can always turn it off for myself. My real problem comes with blizzard allowing everyone to put up icons, people can overwrite your icons with different icons, for example I don't use Cross and Skull as my BW markers :)

    I'll add it back to an alpha build and do another release after a couple days to make sure we have to time to squash any bugs that crop up.
