About Lorewalkers Helper

Lorewalkers Helper is designed to help players at reaching exalted reputation with the Lorewalkers, and get the Disc of the Red Flying Cloud.

Allows to create waypoints in TomTom to the locations in current zone or in all Pandaria that the character still needs to visit to get the achievements, or to all the points needed for the achievements, including already visited.

Supports LibDataBroker to show detailed information with the missing achievement criteria.

It features a small panel with the image of the object to look for, that will be activated when in range (100yd by deafult) from the correct location
Image panel will appear when in proximity of a point of interest even if no waypoint is set.
A simple slash command o ctrl-click on the broker plugin will toggle the panel visibility.

Chat Commands

  • /lorewalkershelper
  • /lwh
    • missing: add waypoints to missing locations in current zone (default behaviour)
    • all missing: add waypoints to missing locations in all Pandaria zones

Are you talking about this achievement? http://www.wowhead.com/achievement=7281

It's indeed possible to do it :)
I should check if wow provides a way to check if you already found an item... otherwise the addon would create always all the waypoints... :(

How many items are there to be found? :)

  • #10

Yes and if you look  through wowhead at http://www.wowhead.com/achievement=7281#comments:id=1727061 all of the waypoints are already there.

Sorry for the bug, in debug it wasn't present: it comes from keyword substitution by curseforge: I'm pushing the fix.

It is quite large because it contains a small screenshot (unfortunately in TGA format) of each object you need to find :)

I am no expert but this seems like a rather large addon, over 6 mb for "just" some map referenc and there are not that many quests you have to track..

If nobody is able to get it to work maybe uninstalling the addon is recomenden as it "might not be what it seams to be".....

  • #5

It is large only because of the images it contains: we'll try to compress them further to reduce the size.

It does not contain any malicious code, I promise... ^^'

ps: despite the size on disk, the footprint in memory is really small, since it load at most one image at the time ;)

    re-edit:: last commit reduced images' sizes :) it's now about 2MB :)

Not getting this to come up. Tried /lwh and /lorewalkershelper, both give me errors like there is no addon installed, but i checked with Addon Control Panel and it says it is loaded...

I must remember to beta tag a commit and then install the build before making it release.... :)
