This is a wonderful addon which I have been using for the past couple of weeks now.
Simple to use and "does what it says on the tin"
No issues to report as yet.
I just want to say: Its wonderful and i cant play WoW without anymore! THX
I've a problem with the size option. As I increase the size the north indicator as well as the arrows indicating where the party/raid memebers are getting glitched. They are not at the edgde of the map they're somewhere in between.
The transparency and combat transparency options barely work if at all for me. The combat slider affects the out of combat opacity, if i go into combat, the map goes to 100% opacity.
The sliders always affect opacity while you're adjusting them (so you can see the effect), but I haven't noticed any problem with them not being applied correctly during normal play. Nobody else is reporting a problem with them so I'll be surprised if I find anything wrong. Make sure that you don't have another addon fighting with Mappy for control of the minimap's opacity in the meantime.
Hey I also had the problem that i couldnt find the resize option. ESC-> INTERFACE -> ADDONS-> MAPPY
there is a size scale.
I hope i did help you guys
I'm going to start looking for a different addon... I saw one with just the node flashing feature, so maybe i can combine that with some simple square minimap/movable minimap addon and get the same results as this... cause I already use minimap button bag.
I still can't figure out why Mappy has shrunk on my screen - is there no resize option for it? Since the last patch it appears too small to be useful on my screen. I would love to continue using this addon but as of now it's useless
Am I completely missing it, or is there no profile support for this addon? In other words, the minimap can't be positioned differently between characters...
Edit: apparently you can use /mappy save <name here> to save profiles and /mappy load <name here> to load profiles... but they don't automatically load for the character you save them on........ dunno?
Good to know, thanks!
i got 3.1.7 and what ever was doing that before seems to be fixed now it's not doing it any more!
Easily the best minimap addon
I haven't worked on that issue yet as I've been trying to find the problem causing Mappy to fail completely for some players. Once I run some randoms I'll see if I can spot the problem you're seeing. If you can take a before and after screenshot showing the problem that might help speed things along as well. Thanks!
I've uploaded Mappy 3.1.7 and it finally fixes this problem. Thank you testerx86 for tracking down the specific incompatibility as that helped enormously! The upload should be available within an hour or so, pending approval by Curse.
I was glad to help you ))
