About Mapster
Mapster is a very simple world map enhacement addon, which was designed to work in conjunction with all other map addons out there. The idea to create Mapster originated from pure lack of a simplistic addon that only modifies the world map, without adding a full scale feature set.

You can access the Mapster configuration menu through the new button on the world map, as shown in the screenshot. All features (except the style) can be turned off individually if you do not need/want them.

I can not resize my map anymore. That is the case since the latest big patch. I hoped for a sollution. Any chance that this get fixed in the near future?

Great lightmap World Map replacement! Just an opinion, if you could add an option to change the Strata it would be even greater :). Because sometimes it covers up other panes, like Quest Pane, Character Pane and PVP/Instance Pane :)
Mapster seems to be having problems with "Fog of War" on the Isle of Thunder. Without Mapster loaded, the Blizzard map shows all of the Isle explored. With Mapster, the Upper 1/2 of the Isle shows as unexplored.

With 5.2, when I open up the map, the "ping" around the player arrow that used to show where I was is gone. This "ping" feature was incredibly useful especially with all the mining/herbing nodes that clutter the map with gathermate. Was this a feature of mapster or another addon? Thanks in advance!

I get lag and occasional short freezes when flying or running with the small map up. This has been reported before, and someone even claimed to have a fix (but did not post it). Does anyone know of anything that can be done, even with loss of functionality? I primarily use this addon for navigating while flying, so the freezes are a constant annoyance. P.S. I have a high end machine and run WoW with all max settings with no lag except when the small mapster map is up. P.S.S. I also would like an option to change the strata as I prefer the map to stay underneath other UI elements.

I loved this addon so I just wanted to thank author(s) for all the good times I had with it.
Ever since 5.2 came out if have had constant errors

My mapster keeps spamming chat with subzones of zones im in, tell me the names and what not. Its pretty annoying, and its constant. it will keep telling me the same areas over and over. Ive tried logging out and reloading ui but nohting works.
I have it set up so that I get a large, semi-transparent map as the mini map. Love it that way. HOWEVER, I just stared working on Thunder Island and it seems to show what I THINK is the stage 2 areas, with the Stage 1 (which is where I am at) being blank with my quest location numbers and my icon but no map under any of them.
Is this an issue with the add-on or some config issue I need to adjust?
is the battleground functionality ever going to be restored? it was the only one that did it the way i like
it showed group #, it showed class color, and didnt it show combat status aswell? i cant recall now its been so long
