Description:

MSBT is designed to be an extremely lightweight, efficient, and highly configurable mod that makes it easier to see combat information by scrolling the information on the screen in separate, dynamically creatable scroll areas. It is a replacement for Blizzard's Floating Combat Text and Damage output.

Features:

  • Lightweight and efficient design.
  • Scroll incoming damage/heals, outgoing damage/heals, and notifications in separate configurable scroll areas on the playing field.
  • Display player and pet cooldown completion alerts.
  • Display loot alerts with a total of how many are now in inventory.
  • Add triggers that will allow you to show notifications based on a variety of conditions.
  • Assign a sound file to play for events/triggers.
  • Dynamically create new scroll areas and assign any event/trigger to them.
  • Customize the position, size, animation style, enabled state, font style, font size, font outline, and opacity for each of the scroll areas.

  • Show partial effects (resists, absorbs, vulnerabilities, etc) colored according to type.
  • Filter output information with a full suite of spam controls.
  • Load on demand options.

    • Output your own scrolling messages with the MikSBT.DisplayMessage function instead of having to create your own frame and animation code. You can also use your own font by first registering it with MSBT via the MikSBT.RegisterFont function.

    So for some reason as a priest the dispel function of this addon is not quite working right, when i Dispel a target or Mass Dispel a target the function shows Dispels!(Dispels") or Mass Dispels!(Mass Dispels) it doesnt show me what I dispelled...

    Can you explain why there's no option to separate out small damage or your damage on multiple people? I think that combining AoE hits and smaller damage is one of the worst things you can do in a battle text, and the reason why I install this addon only to delete before even going out into battle because each time there's no feature to separate smaller numbers.

    If there's an option, please make it waaaay more obvious, and if there's not, there really should be one.

    Hello thanks for a great addon!

    I have a problem with the setup menu however. The 4 last options (spam control, cooldowns, loot alerts and skill icons) are either empty or just has a few lines of text.

    Im trying to disable money loot notafication and a notafication I get after i`ve spoken to npc`s (conversation starter now ready or something to that affect)

    I have names disabled but I still occasionally get an (%n) tag with some incoming heals... not sure what I might be missing.

    Hi, I wonder if it is possible to show how big absorb spells you place on friendly targets, like Power Word: Shield, DIvine Aegis, Sacred Shield etc? 

    Is it possible aswell to show how much damage your absorbs did absorb on a friendly target?

    Hello, is there An option to turn off Deadly posion procs, by this i mean once you have an application of deadly posion running on the boss/dummy, what ever, and it applys it again it procs ''extra'' dmg 


    Your Deadly Poison hit Raider's Training Dummy 13896 Nature. <- is the proc if you already have the dot runnign and it applys deadly posion again which is what i want to turn of because its to spammy.

    Your Deadly Poison damaged Raider's Training Dummy 26989 Nature. this is the rolling dot, which i know how to turn off under ''events -> skill dots'' check box unticked when i do that it still keeps showing the deadly posion proc

    also filtering it out doenst work, it only filters out the dot which is useless.

    At first - very nice addon, I love it.

    But I've got a question - how can you edit a constant notification for the efffects from "Brutal Talisman of the Shado-Pan Assault" and "Darkmist Vortex" (LFR) ?

    I would love to see a constent text as long as the effect is upon me, so I could do more damage. ^-^

    For now if these effects are triggered, there is a text for them - but only for a few seconds and when I'm fighting against a boss, this text disappears too fast. For that I would love like to have a constent "WARNING" for such effects.

    Can someone help me please? ^^ (sorry for bad English. s: )

    In first place, GREAT ADDON. Thank You very much.

    I would like to do this:

    Scroll Area called "My scroll" I display damage taken and Incoming Heals (I play like tank). with sticky animation style, and I would like keep the information in the screen, and not fade after 20-25 seconds.

    Example:

    Right side of the screen, He has incoming heals, incoming damage, and damage done, but this information never fade. How can I get it?

    Ok so odd question. I want Mik's to automatically give me a sound alert as well as a text alert when my Healing Stream Totem is about to expire (say 3 seconds beforehand). How would I do this?
