MSBT is designed to be an extremely lightweight, efficient, and highly configurable mod that makes it easier to see combat information by scrolling the information on the screen in separate, dynamically creatable scroll areas. It is a replacement for Blizzard's Floating Combat Text and Damage output.


  • Lightweight and efficient design.
  • Scroll incoming damage/heals, outgoing damage/heals, and notifications in separate configurable scroll areas on the playing field.
  • Display player and pet cooldown completion alerts.
  • Display loot alerts with a total of how many are now in inventory.
  • Add triggers that will allow you to show notifications based on a variety of conditions.
  • Assign a sound file to play for events/triggers.

    The healing and damage numbers from Light's Hammer (the level 90 Paladin talent) doesn't appear when using MSBT.  Any idea how to fix this or cause them to appear?

    Swift reflexes(Monk ability) icon is bugged. Instead of a true icon it's a green box. The same problem goes for Path of Blossoms(Monk ability) but this icon is not a green box but it's different than as it should be.

    Everytime I try change masterfont the game freezes and have to be closed by windows. it happens when I try change the crit font to 2002 and add a border to to it. the cromatic border I think th emane of it was.

    is it possible to set the spam filter values higher than 10000 for dmg and heal ?

    with MoP the new limit should be at least 20000

    There is a missing texture/icon for one of the monk healing spells.  It just shows up as a green box.

    I still get the aggro messages over the target's heads, even though everything is turned off in the Blizzard default Floating text menu.

    When i enable option to group numbers by thousands (display "32,758" instead of "32758") just when i start to attack a mob, wow client loses almost all FPS, few seconds later, when i kill a mob, client becomes completely stuck (program doesn't responding), screen stucks happens at the moment i see exp. reward. (blizzard sct purple text), very strange bug.

    Edit: when i attack level 1 mob, client stucks instantly.

    Edit: when that option enabled, i dont see numbers at all (damage numbers not displayed, fps becomes lowered to very low, like 3 fps, and for the whole combat is stays so, when i kill a mob and another attacking me, client does not crash, but when it crushes immediately when i leave combat, my client is not english, tried different fonts, tried 1 time without any other addons, still crashes (its tested in 5.7.122 and 5.7.123 versions). Option to display like "33k" works well, only the grouping like "32,879" crashes.

    Thanks to everyone for the reports of the error on certain power types such as Sha Power and Alternate Power.  It is fixed in version 5.7.123 which will be available as soon as a Curse moderator approves it.

    On the last boss of Shang-pao, there is a looping error that occurs .. pretty sure those below who've mentioned the same thing have provided the code to debug.. so I'm just here confirming the issue exists for others.

    Having a pretty bag lua error that's showing up sometimes:

    I'm not sure what causes it, but it makes things more or less unplayable because of the sheer number of things.
