When EveryQuest Quest Givers is installed along with MBF, the EQQG minimap icons are displayed as empty circles that move back and forth between the minimap and the MBF frame, then back to minimap, back to MBF, over and over.
"/mbf remove" makes the circles go away completely from both the minimap and MBF.
I opened a ticket for EQQG on wowace.
Maybe something can be done in MBF to help this glitch?
  • #1106
Kandarz suggested I add an exception for "QuestGiversPin". That seems to have resolved it.

    Thank you.

Hi, thanks for you great addon.

the only problem is teh French localization that is awfull and uncomprehensible (especiallly the "exceptions" menu).
So, how can i return to a Us localization ?
  • #1113
It determines your localization based upon your WoW client. If you can provide a better translation I'll replace the crappy translation program one.

I like this addon. but i've a problem with the PvP-queue-icon/button. it is gathered by MBF, but it's far away from every other (correctly) gathered and grouped button. it looks like all other MBF-buttons, but stays at theoriginal position near the minimap. in the middle of the button-gathering-frame there is a black spot where the PvP-queue-icon should be. so how can i get this icon into the right place?

Is there any way to make it so that the minimap additions from the addon Archy don't cause my MBF to go all wonky? I end up having to remove each individual icon, and that gets old really fast.
  • #1092
Yes I'd love to see this, especially after the latest update to Archy is adding lots of blank icons to MBF.
  • #1093
Actually, this functionality does exist in MBF, the only difficulty is finding the name of the icon you don't want. Handily, MBF allows partial names :D

    Exceptions

Then, in the "Add Protected Item", type ArchyMinimap_POI and click Okay. This will grab all the icons since they are all named ArchyMinimap_POI1, ArchyMinimap_POI2, etc.

If you were already having this problem when you try my above solution, you might have extra invisible icons taking up space in MBF. A simple /reloadui or relog will fix this.

Sorting, when I checked under which children icons to sort, the Archy icon names were listed right there, tried those names and sure enough the fix worked great ^_^
  • #1101
It should be noted that if you've also enabled Archy to show dig site boundaries on your minimap that an exception will have to be added their too, so along with "ArchyMinimapPOI", you should add "ArchyBlobMinimap" and that will cover the dig site boundaries ^_^
  • #1099
I tried that and it didn't work for me :'(
  • #1102
It doesn't work for me either :(
  • #1097
Thanks a lot... I was going crazy with that issue!!
  • #1095
Yeah, I tried hunting the names were. Thanks for this. I'm still having an issue that keeps them from being displayed in MBF is minimized.
  • #1094
Thanks, mate. I knew about the functionality of MBF but had no idea what to add to exceptions.
    Cheers
