About Mount Up

This addon makes a simple movable frame that summons a random mount that you have.This is useful because after the patch mounts no longer use inventory space and some people might have alot of mounts...Why bother having a million buttons to click rather than have 4 simple buttons.

Regular Ground - Has the druid tree of life symbol....Trees don't go very fast do they?

Swift Ground - Im a kitty....well im the druid cat form symbol at least...Remember cats cant fly (Unless you throw them)

Regular Flying - TRAVEL FORM BABY!....Well its not very specific but it fits

Swift Flying - Most noticeable...Its a bird flying..For the love of god if you cant figure out what that means go hit your head on a wall.

Note:I used druid symbols because this was made for a druid that I know.They were also there to use easy.If you need to change the icons so badly the XML isnt complicated just find the paths for the druid ability's and redo them.Sorry i might someday decide to make it changeable easier but not now.

    you always can make a macro for this

    /castrandom (then enter your mounts' names with commas between them)

    I have the 4 slow horses and 3 slow rams. The slow mount button randomly switches between these 7. No problem there. I just got my Journeyman Riding skill, and activated my Swift Zhevra item (which I got for referring someone a long time ago). When I click the Swift Mount button, it'll randomly choose the Zhevra or one of the 3 rams. It is smart enough to not pick the horses. Is there any way to get it to not pick the slow rams when I click the swift riding button?

    Is there a menu option for this? A slash command to adjust the size of the box or something along those lines?

    Addon as of now is working for WoTLK and will be updated with wrath mounts soon.

    Fixed ...

    Open up the mountup_main.lua file in notepad

    find this line:
    for i = 1, GetNumCompanions("MOUNT") do\

    Delete the \ ... save and try again.

    I did notice a small bug though. If you have a blue and/or green machanostrider (regular lvl 30 mount) and press the Swift mount button it will randomly pick between the two because of a name conflict with the Icy Blue and Swith Green versions. It may do the same with other similar named mounts too.

    Addon needs some work but great idea ...

    probably because it ws not zipped like most addons. Check your addons folder and I bet you will see three files called:
    Mountup.toc
    Mountup_main.lua
    Mountup_main.xml

    Make a folder labled mountup and place those files in it.

    Don't rush though as the addon is currently dead.
