sorry i dont have a wow account. but will be back for the expansion, and fix it in november

  • #106

Any chance this will be updated so it won't bug out the game when I log in? I have to uninstall it or not let it load to even play :(

  • #105

Can you apply an update? Works fine i think only update the toc ^.-

I really miss being able to set the opacity and size for each level of holy power.  I like having only become visible once i have 3 holy power as an indticator that i can use one of the abilities.  Is there any way to add this functionality back to the new version?

    Great addon!

Will you be making one for the Chi bar?

Also, I noticed a small oversight; the powerbar accepts mouse clicks which causes an annoyance when you are playing and it's hidden; you click on that particular area to rotate the camera and it doesn't do such because the frame is intercepting the mouse click.

I fixed that in your code; wasn't sure if you did that on purpose for any reason. I couldn't determine whether it was needed since there is no way to move the bar except by the sliders in the options menu.

thanks for pointing this out. it was not done on purpose, no way, i totally hate when frames trap my mouse, but strange as it could be, i didnt noticed this while playing.

EnableMouse is set like that on the blizzard frame, dunno why. I thought it was already transparent. anyway fixed in 2.04

dunno bout monks yet, still have to roll one, but think there is already something out?

    I appreciate it.

There isn't anything as great as yours. I honestly think yours is the best just because it retains the original look--too many people shortcut and make medicore ways of monitoring the Chi.

The greatest thing about your addon (Paladin is my main) is that it sits nicely just below the waist of my character so I know when my power is full to send off heavy heals.

    Keep up the good work!

It seems like the settings get reset to default a lot. Even joining a guild did it. Any ideas?

I love this addon but I am having the same issue.  Periodically the setting are set back to default and the Holy Power bar goes back to the middle of the screen.  I have determined that it is not the horizontal or vertical offsets that are resetting but only the main scale slider.  I like mine set at 1.5 but it resets back to 1.0 every so often.  I have not been able to figure out what is causing it to reset.  Sometimes it resets when I close WoW and reopen it and other times events such as joining a raid group or entering an instance will reset it.

Also one thing about this addon that I used to like was that it would hide or take away the default holy bar used by the WoW UI.  This is not the case anymore (at least for me).  Is this a coding issue or a user (me) issue?

Once again, I really enjoy this addon and the problems I stated are minor inconveniences.  I don't plan to stop using the addon due to these issues.  Keep up the good work and thank you very much!

how to move this thing? I cannot move it even after trying all key combination (alt, shift, ctrl, left right click)  and there's no option to lock/ unlock it?

  • #97

open addon options, there are 2 sliders to move the frame.

Interesting, so is pitbull hiding the playerframe constantly? You'd think just making the bar visible again would work, especially after it's reparented.

  • #95

visibilty is always inherited. so no way to make it visible.

reparenting the frame (never did, but think its possible) would generate errors in blizzard code... wow couldnt access the standard frame no more.

this is the best option imo.

report if there are any problems :)

if you have an addon that hides the palyer frame (like pitbull) the movable holy bar doesnt show up :(

  • #91

2.03 fixes that, i am using (again) a copy of the blizzard frame, so we dont rely on player unitframe
