About MultiMail
Multimail - A mass mailer for guilds, friends, and arena teams. Mass mail to guild ranks, friends, teams, saved lists, or any combination of level, class, even time online.
- type /multimail or /mm or click the button in the MailBox. Type a name and hit enter to add it to the list; click on a name in the list to remove it. To actually send, the 'send mail' frame must be open, and you must have something written in either the subject or a body. Clicking the big MutliMail button will then mail everyone in the list. Close Multimail with the 'Esc' key.
- Multiple lists are supported. Where it says 'displaying list #' at the top right, that number can be changed. All names in the current list are saved automatically, so you may change that number anytime, start a new list, then change it back and all your original names will still be there. Great for saving past arena teammate's names.
- MultiMail now allows custom mailing to any combination of guild rank, class, race, last online, and level to friends and/or guild members. Click the "Custom" button and select your criteria.
Race doesn't work the best. I'm not sure why. If anyone knows why the UnitRace() function works sometimes and not others, I'd love to know. I suggest never using it. UnitSex() seems to work just as badly. I'd love to implement that. :)
*With patch 4.0, Blizzard has capped the amount of mails you can send at 100, and you cannot send more until they are read by the recipients. Please log on to the WoW forums and make a post asking that an exception be made for in-guild and between friends mail!

Apparently gold sellers have figured out how to use the calender to send out mass calender announcements...Blizz will prolly nerf our use of that now as well :P
I think this cap was due to farmers and gold sellers sending mass mails to advertise their sites. This is a common tactic in many other games as well.
Looks like they capped it even more, sends out 3 mails then gives me a mail sent cap.

Blizzard is ruining their own game by not listening to their players & trying to make it more "accessible" when it was already apparently the most accessible game on earth, according to the number of subscribers...
Yeah this addon wont work anymore because Blizz stopped the ability to send mass mails a long time ago. You can't send mail after mail to guildies in one go. The number Blizz capped us all at is eithr 10 or 20 I forget. Very disappointed with blizz on this :(

Also noticed the classes. DK is missing but other then that a great addon. As a Guildmaster anything that helps us to run our guilds is a gd thing.

I completely agree with this assessment, and this is a fantastic idea, only beyond my programming skills myself. How hard would this be to do?
Not a bad idea, except the main issue is that you cannot send more UNTIL PEOPLE HAVE OPENED WHAT YOU ALREADY SENT.
This would also require checking that each message was successfully sent (to prevent duplicates). It would slow the mod down a lot.
How about a mod that auto-whispers everyone on your list? Have they capped Whispers yet? :P
