About MultiAuction_Auctioneer (WoW)
This is an addon for MultiAuction that uses Auctioneer data to set prices on your auctions.
(This addon requires both MultiAuction and Auctioneer)
This will add the following price options for starting/buyout prices in the Value Multiplier price scheme of MultiAuction.
- Market value
The following were automagically added by listing all the auctioneer algorithms (List might vary)
- VendMarkup
- Appraiser
- Simple
- Histogram
- StdDev
- Classic
- Sales
- Purchased
- iLevel
Notes:
- I've never used auctioneer before, so I won't pretend to know what any of the pricing algorithms do, so feedback is appreciated. I will attempt to use auctioneer (or at least parts of it) to get a better feel on this stuff.

I added a % of Auctioneer Appraiser (PriceMatch) that will do the moving price that you get with appraiser when you check the 'price match' checkbox.
MultiAuction has a few price schemes. Default, Value Multiplier, and All The Same Price.
Default fills in the starting/buyout prices as if you put the item in the original auction house slot, with the default starting/buyout price (as if you had 0 addons)
All The Same Price lets you set the price for every item.
Value Multiplier is the main price scheme that this addon uses. It allows you to type in a percentage multiplier according to different starting/buyout selections. There should be 2 drop down menus: a staring price menu, and a buyout price menu.
Both dropdowns should have a few selections such as: % of Auctioneer Market Value
or % of Auctioneer Appraiser
MultiAuction will ask Auctioneer what price to get for the item in question, and then use the percentage multiplier on it.
Sorry if I made this a bit confusing. I was trying to go with versatility.
Thanks for pointing that out. I admit that I didn't explore your interface options very carefully.
Unfortunately, after some experimentation, I cannot re-create the use case scenario I want. (i.e. what the old IMA addon did)
Try doing this in Auctioneer:
(place an item into the window)
Default (market)
Bid per item: x
Buy per item: y
Can you give us the parameters we need to specify in MultiAuction so we get the exact same values for x and y that we see when placing an item in the Appraiser Tab?
The exact amount is crucial for those of us who do undercutting.
Thanks!
It only returns 1 number, so if you have the starting bid calculation set to markdown by 5%, just set it as 95% in multiauction.
Hrm.. Let me look into seeing how I can change that.

Please note - this is NOT the Auctioneer Team's job to fix. It is a 3rd-party addon that happened to work with AucClassic (because AC put prices in the Blizz Auction tab, which is where IMA got its prices from)
If people want IMA to work with Auctioneer now, somebody is going to have to add in the new API calls to query Auctioneer for the price. We will happily provide you with those function calls and provide help along the way, but we are not going to do the heavy lifting."
Did you get those function calls from them? I imagine it will solve the pricing problem.
Thanks!
