About Multishot (Screenshot)
Multishot
Multishot is a tiny addon that automatically takes screenshots of memorable events in your World of Warcraft career. It's a photo diary of everything you come across in Azeroth, Outland and Northend.
Features & screenshot possibilities
- level-ups and guild level-ups
- achievements and guild achievements
- reputation changes
- challenge mode medals
- battleground and arena wins
- trade window transactions
- any rare/rare-elite mob kills
How to use
Just play as usual and Multishot will be waiting. By the way: you can take screenshots any time you like by pressing the PRINT key. Captures will most likely be located in C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Screenshots.Configuration
via Interface > Addons > Multishot or type /multishot into the chat window.Updates
You will have to update Multishot every once in a while. Blizzard constantly adds, removes or updates mobs. Multishot would not be aware of these changes otherwise.Troubleshooting
Multishot might not work as expected after new content patch has been released: every now and then "false positives" will sneak into the database. Those can easily be spotted in debug mode. Please drop me a line so that I can blacklist them as soon as possible.Localization

Hi,
Any chance you could separate out kill shots from LFR raids from those of normal raids?
well yes... but how?
I have been getting random screenshots of my computer desktop/browser etc. Would that happen if i was playing in Windowed mode and using this addon? it does take shots of the game properly.
no!! this is not related to multishot. multishot can only take screenshots of wow, even windowed.
just wondering, I installed this and "out of the box" wasnt taking screens of rare kills. I was in pandaria so I am wondering...
are pandaria rares not supported out of the box? or with a fresh install of this do I need to whitelist any rares that I would want auto screened in general?
additionaly, my screenshot folder is replaces with a shortcut that has a symbiotic link to a folder in dropbox, would this effect the add ons auto screenshot? the macro to trigger it works fine though.
another Idea I'd like to suggest, would be an in game font switcher for the watermark, and maybe if it is at all possible, a way to screenshot certain loot, like adding a whitelist trigger that is based off of item ID which players can add to in a txt editor.

multishot should work out of the box. which rares were you killing, could you please name one where the screenshot didnt fire? i'll check the database. pandaria should be fully supported.
symbolic links have nothing to do with multishot and has no effect on your screenshots. multishot uses the wow client's function of taking screenshots.
the font will be customizable soon.
whitelist trigger for loot is a nice idea - but who has got the skills to edit a textfile with the corresponding ids? not the average user i guess.
Great addon but I have 3 minor annoyances:
1) when hiding my UI it always fails to hide the button glow. Is this a Blizzard issue or one that can be coded out?
2) As an altaholic, I like the Watermark feature as it allows me to identify easily the caharacter the shot relates to, but I hate the font. Is this configurable?
3) After taking a screenshot my UI will sometimes not restore after it has been hidden. This happens most frequently, but not exclusively, while I am in an instance and as a healer that is bad, especially as the only cure I have found is a relaod ui.
This does not happen on every screenshot and across all characters with and without othger addons active and generate no lua errors.
Is there a simple /command I can run to restore the UI or even a script so I can keybind it to a macro?

1. i'm not quite sure which button glow you are talking about. is it the "spell ready" glow of your action bar? could this be a conflict with another addon? are you using bartender or anything like that?
2. yes the font will be customizable soon.
3. yes this can be happen unfortunately because it is very difficult to hide the ui, meaning it works most of the time but there is no 100% reliable way of doing it sadly! these are restrictions by blizzard while being in combat and stuff like that. i think the command to manually show it again should be UIParent:SetAlpha(1) but i am not sure sorry!
Awesome changes to the latest release. The font is now much better and I am pleased to say the UI has returned everytime over the last month despite increased activity and more frequesnt shots being taken.
With regards to the button glow I have linked an image below (http://a.yfrog.com/img109/208/dvf2.jpg) which shows 3 button highlights despite the UI being hidden. I use Bartender4 it may be that causing the issue:

I'm playing on a Mac, which has no Print button. What is the Mac manual screenshot equivalent?

If your Mac doesn't have one, change the binding in WoWs keyboard settings.
I noticed it didn't take any shots during PvP. For instance, when I capture the flag in WSG, or a quick shot of the leaderboard when the BG ends. Is there a way to add this?
