About OmniCC

OmniCC is an addon that adds text to items, spell and abilities that are on cooldown to indicate when they will be ready to use. In other words: it turns all the standard analogue cooldowns into digital ones.

Anything should work with OmniCC, from the action bars to the inventory, from the standard interface to your favorite add-on.

  • Fixed issue with Bartender4 (and possibly other mods) in spiral opacity.
  • Slashcommand working again.
  • Critical hotfix. Settings had to be reset. My fault.
  • Added new default group *Ignore*
    • This group disable cooldown text on the player frame totem icons and the loss of control frame.
    • It also serves to illustrate how to use the grouping features.

    I still love this addon much more than the defaul timers, especially b/c it shows the debuff timers under my targets portrait. However, sometimes it seems bugged, mainly during PvP, but it might be on Blizzards end. Seemed to do the same thing with their default timers.

    Fear Ward is the biggest culprit for me. Timer never shows on it, till I mouse over, have to look at the top of my screen to check it's status. Sometimes it does this on other more necessary skills, my escape mechanisms, which is a problem. I think my Spectral Guise or Dispersion is up, b/c it's not fogged or with timer, and upon spamming it with no effect, I find it's NOT up. Anyone else with this problem? Don't really have time to mouse over the keybound icon every time just to see if it's really on cooldown or not...

    Font Size

    Is there any way to manually increase the font size of the cooldown text? The built in slider doesnt seem to actually increase beyond a font size of 16.

    I have tried setting up different groups, disabled automatic scaling, and even went as far as messing with the lua configs manually. Is there something Im missing? I'd like to get it to get it to scale larger when it is <1min but changing the sliders does nothing.

    Are u sure it is while casting? Try and lower the "Minimum duration to display finish effect"

    Is there a way to make the alert popups stay for longer?

    EDIT: Found a solution... kinda.

    Go to your addons folder > OmniCC > effects > and open the alert file (pref on note++ or something like that) > find the line anim:SetDuration(0.3) > change the nr to your liking.

    You can edit the file while in-game, just remember to reload the UI after every change you do.

    The animation will be slower, since there is no display duration line to edit.

    Sounds like you either have the Blizzard cd text enabled or another addon giving cd text.

    is there a way to hide times based on maximum duration? when im keeping an eye on hots i dont need to see 57m for fort/motw/AI etc... id like to set it low to around 20 minutes before timers show up

    Timers on Target's Portrait


    I used to use this for years. I skipped wrath and came back during Cata but on a new PC and fresh install so I only remembered certain add-ons during that time. Anyway, I recently came across this one again and I was like OHH YEAAA I remember this one, I LOVED this one, totally downloading it right now!

    I've been using it for about 20 hours or so now and was wondering if there's a way to TURN OFF the timers under the portrait of my target as the timers under the portrait actually make it very hard to impossible for me to determine what is what as the icon is obscured. Perhaps even a way to move the timers down under the icons on the portrait of my target.  Again, I'm ONLY referring to the timers under the " portrait of my target. " The timers on MY action bars are FINE, and that is of coruse why I use the add-on but the timers under the portrait of my target is what this post is about and I was curious if there's a way I can disable those. If not, I would love to see this implemented as an option.
