About OmniCC

Doing pet battles? Check out my latest addon, PetTracker!

Overview

OmniCC is an addon that adds text to items, spell and abilities that are on cooldown to indicate when they will be ready to use. In other words: it turns all the standard analogue cooldowns into digital ones.

Anything should work with OmniCC, from the action bars to the inventory, from the standard interface to your favorite add-on.

v5.2 resets all data/removes different rule sets upon reload (or restart?)

  • #2217

    hello,
seems v5.2 looses changes after a reload and doesn't load my earlier versions' sellected font type.(using Bartender)

Thank you for the heads up, it was because of the version number format.

    Some feature requests:

I use OmnicCC on my Dominos buttons and it's great. I also use it for timers on some custom buff frames for really important buffs, but would like to have it display the finish effects on them too. Currently it can't display them because the buff frame is hidden when it expires. Any chance we could get a time option to set when it displays? For example, I could set it to start about 3s before the buff expires, and it would end about the same time the buff gets hidden.

I would like to hide the CD models for any buttons that have a timer on them, but when I uncheck "Show cooldown models", it hides them for all the buttons, and I need to see my GCDs for normal buttons. So, could we get a "Hide CD models for frames with timers" option?

Any way to show timers for buttons with spells that are recharging? Maybe make it so when they are on cooldown with no charges the timer would use the standard color/size options, and when it has charges but is recharging it would still show the timer, but with the alternate color/size options.

I would really appreciate if you could add these new features. Thanks.

I read everything in the guide, and there is no way to do any of the 3 things I suggested for new features.

For the first one, we need a new option to change when the finish effect occurs, like 1-2s before the CD expires. Currently no way to show the finish effect for buff frames because those frames are hidden before the finish effect occurs.

For the second, we need an option that will set the spiral alpha to 0 only if that spiral currently has timer text showing, and if it doesn't, then use the alpha from the new option. You could use separate rules for all your buttons, but that still won't allow you to show the GCD on a button that can also have normal CD timer text. Not seeing a CD spiral on a button with a macro has often screwed me up in combat and activated things that are off the GCD without activating the primary ability because I still had a GCD.

For the last, it used to show timer text for spells on a recharge, but that was "fixed", but even when it did work it was a bit erratic. It would be very nice to have another separate scale/color style option for buttons that are on recharge so you could show a smaller green text for the recharge timers, and when it is on CD with no charges it would show the appropriate normal style timer. So: if charges = 0, use the normal style, if charges > 0 and charges < maxCharges then use the recharge style. The finish effect should play for all of them.

Having an issue with Master Mana Potion countdown not working. Not only is the countdown for potion not going down (it resets over and over at 60 secs) but it is also making it impossible to take another mana potion after 60 secs has passed. If I disable OmniCC everything works fine. Can this be fixed?

  • #2210

    Hi :)

I'm having a small bug, not quite sure what the deal is. The alerts for the finish effects, no matter the effect, are not working or showing up when the gcd and the finish effect are at the same time. I cast a frost nova, and  if I cast an icelance to trigger the gcd at the same time my nova is off cd, the finish effects don't show. I've tried each effect individually and with different spells all with the same result. Don't know if it's a bug or just a setting i'm missing. Thanks! :)

    Hello Tuller !

I got big prob that drived me crazy.
My OmniCC doesn't work properly like not showing the text at all. It shows cd models but doesn't show text on target buffs or debuffs or my cds.
I removed and install 3 times but nothing had changed  and also when ı want to reset the omnicc settings, nothing happens after.

I ve been searching for this issue but couldn't find anything unfortunetely.

I hope you answer me asap ! Good luck !

    1. Are you using any addon for your target buffs, debuffs or action bars?
    2. Do you have "Show Lua Errors" enabled at the interface options?
    3. Have you tried to maximize "Minimum size to display text" and "Minimum duration to display text" OmniCC options?
