About OmniCC

Need help? Check the Guide!

OmniCC is an addon that adds text to items, spell and abilities that are on cooldown to indicate when they will be ready to use. In other words: it turns all the standard analogue cooldowns into digital ones.

Anything should work with OmniCC, from the action bars to the inventory, from the standard interface to your favorite add-on.

  • Extracted the timer scheduling code from the timer code.
  • Created two scheduling engines for the timer: One based on the Animation system, and one based on the classic OnUpdate methods, with the animation system used by default. If you're experiencing crashes when using OmniCC, try switching to the OnUpdate engine.
  • To switch to the OnUpdate engine, use /run OmniCC:SetUpdateEngine('ScriptUpdater'); ReloadUI()

It does display durations of your target's buffs and debuffs though, if you set the minimum text size small enough. I was just wondering if there was a way for it to work for my buffs and debuffs, instead of the default yellow timers underneath. I'd just like things to match better.
  • #1443
I'd take a look at addons that modify your buff frame. I think a few can do this.

    Bacon is a cheese.

    new version is broken.
  • #1438
Same here, nothing worked (and no error) until I delete saved variables, now the beta13 works.
  • #1429
I don't know what you're all changing lately but as of Beta13 it's broken for me.
  • #1432
Broke for me too.. nothing works now
  • #1433
Are you getting any error messages? Does it happen to work if you lower the minimum font size?

    Bacon is a cheese.

It actually still works for me, but when I updated OmniCC it broke ArkInventory, giving me the following error whenever I open my bag:

  • #1436
I've confirmed that disabling OmniCC makes these errors go away.
  • #1428
out of the blue, OmniCC stopped working with TotemTimers... i have no idea why.

i dl'ed the latest version of OmniCC and TotemTimers with no go... any help? =(
  • #1424
    little help?
im an addon junky and have been for a while, i downloaded this one as of late, and have confidence this is one of the better cd addons. is there a way to disable text cooldowns and possably make button frames on your bar become different colors while on cd? or do you know of another addon that does this? im convinced it would be the best way to measure cooldowns for people with lots of actions bars on their screen. they wouldn't have to pay attention to silly timers.
    any thoughts?
  • #1421
I can get neither the pulse or shine to work. I tried adjusting the minimum finish time and made sure one was enabled however it does not work. I am using the newest version of Bartender.
  • #1416
I've found that Beta11 causes major interface lag when a Hostile NPC changes targets to another Party/Raid member to cast an ability.
  • #1415
Seems as though beta 11 is the same way. Lags way the hell down, particularly after a boss kill in heroics (6-10 sec lag), without fail. On a plus note, it seems I haven't lost any of my raid lockouts yet ;)
  • #1413
The betas builds are really slick but beta 10/11 appears to be causing significant lag during raids. Release version works fine; haven't tried betas 7 or 8. Could be a conflict with another addon - didn't have time to disable them one by one to check; I run threat plates, vuhdo, dominos, icehud, and shadowed unit frames.
