Will this stop bags from closing when you leave a vendor or the mailbox? That is the part that is really irking me, and I am searching for an addon that will stop this behavior.

Great! I'd just finished my own version of this (but more complicated, with an .xml file and all that), and hadn't thought to have my own OpenAllBags function go ahead and open the backpack! Good idea that. Yours is cleaner and simpler than mine, so I won't even bother uploading! Good work, great save. I can't imagine what the HELL Blizzard was thinking with that "Open All Bags" foolishness.

Well there definitely are a lot of ways to do it ..

But I agree just using a pre-hook and then opening the backpack is a very simple way to do it =)

thought i would say thx for this, as the new fangled way blizard had to open all your bags in 4.1 was really annoying.
