About Paladin Tracker

Joining BeaconTracker and SacredShieldTracker, PaladinTracker is an addon to easily cast, recast and watch the timer for  Beacon of Light with the ability to be expanded to any other Paladin buff, debuff, or cooldown.

New to PaladinTracker -
* Uses LibBars to create more fluid and ... pretty bars
* Single anchor for all PaladinTracker spells
* PT can track Cooldowns of various skills, including Holy Shock, Lay on Hands, Righteous Defense and Avenging Wrath
* Two Anchor Bars - One for Timers of spells, One for Cooldowns
* Monitors and Displays remaining Symbol of Kings - Don't keep the raid waiting because you forgot!

Known Bugs & Limitations
* PaladinTracker does not yet have support for different sounds for different spells - only 1 sound period for all warnings/expires
* Does not (currently) take into consideration talents, glyphs, etc that may lower cooldowns - this will be corrected in a future version

ToDo:
* Allow different warning & expire sounds for individual skills
* Allow custom filtering for cooldown watch & proc watch

4.3a - Updated to 4.3 - Added Inquisition to tracked cooldowns/buffs.

4.1.0a-oops - Did not realize Bliz had changed the COMBAT_LOG event. Updated addon to work again. :x

4.1.0a - Updated for 4.1

4.0.1a - Updated for Cataclysm - Pulled out several now unused features, and updated all (I think) spells. Now allows for a Buff WITH a cooldown (Such as Avenging Wrath)

3.2 -
* Added additional Paladin spells
* re-worked some back-end functions for higher efficiency/less errors

3.1a -
* Added options to grow list upwards or downwards
* Added options to select which spells you want to track (more customization to come)
* Changed behavior of tracking spells to prepare for localization

2.4.1 - Updated for WoW 3.3

2.4
* Rewrote some key functions to run better - should no longer destroy bars (unless the option is chosen) to prevent overlapping bars.
* Added Symbol of Kings monitoring.
* Added Judgment of the Pure and Flash of Light's HoT to watched spells

2.3.1 - Re-'Ace'd the Addon - Debugged with zero additional addons - Should be working fine now!

2.3
* Added anchor for cooldown bars  - use /PT config to show anchors, then move it to where you'd like
* Switched to LibRockTimer for tracking
* Added Sacred Shield's 'Flash of Light' HoT to track bar

2.2
* Fixed auto-debuging issues
* Added 'Cooldown Tracker' for a handful of spells. Will eventually add the ability to add/delete/change the skills you want shown - Disable this feature in /PT Config
* Corrected the button's "recast" for CombatLockdown

2.1 - Not Released

2.0 - Initial release of combined project BeaconTracker and Sacred Shield Tracker

Any chance illuminated healing can be added please.

Sure thing. Watch for it in the next update.

The biggest issue I have on my ret pali is keeping track of the inquisition buff.   I have read thru what you have up there, but  if that spell is included it was too vague for me to understand.   Can I use this addon to alert me when inquisition is about to expire or does expire?

  • #35

If Inquisition is in the spell list (found in the options), then yes - it will alert you when it's about to expire, and then again when it DOES expire. I have been semi-out of the game for a while, but have been trying to keep up (fairly unsuccessfully I might add) with things.

With RL crap winding down and new content in, I am in the slow process of fixing all my addons, and update them to the current versions. If it does not CURRENTLY have Inqusition, it will at the next update.

hi i m just startded using the addon and i love it but i was wondering if you could add items to the cooldown. i m a lvl 85 healadin and i have the core of ripeness valor trinket. it has a use with a 2min cd and it would be nice if i could track that cooldown too. thank you and keep up the good work

Haven't been playing much recently, as I've been busy elsewhere - I'll look into adding this, however. :)

Hello, while the latest version (4.1.0a-oops) now shows the cooldown correctly, it seems to have lost the ability to click on the CD bar to recast it on that target. Anyone found a fix for that?
Already tried deleting my saved variables...didn't help :(
  • #32
Are we talking about the cooldown bar, or the timer countdown bar? Cooldown bars have never been clickable for recast.
  • #28
Your BeaconTracke addon is such a great addon i love it but i can't move it
  • #29
If you unlock the bars, it should move (I haven't been on my pally much since the 4.0 patch, so I'm not sure if something broke :P). You can do this via '/pt unlock' or you find the setting for 'Move Anchors' in the settings. :)

Is there anyway to change the name of the buffs. I am currently playing wow in french and it seems that the addon doesn't manage to track the buffs as the names are slightly different.

    Thanks

    http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/paladin-tracker/localization/frFR/

You can begin the translations there to be included with future releases.
  • #25
And how do I add a translation?
  • #27
Click on the above link - that should take you directly to the Localization page on Curse Forge. From there, take the line that says 'English: ', and translate it to your own language. When a Locale is complete, we can add the file to the release, and anyone all the info will be automatically translated to anyone using that Locale. :)
  • #23
I will set up Localization so that we can get all translations in easily. In the mean time, you can edit the PaladinTracker.lua file - near the bottom, starting at line #658, you'll see the tracked spells. Until Localization goes in, you can just change them to the correct name in your Locale.
