About Pet Ability List

Anyia's Pet Ability List

What

Anyia's Pet Ability List is an in-game reference sheet for all hunter pet family abilities (including Cataclysm families).

The pet families are grouped by their category (Ferocity, Cunning or Tenacity), each displayed on a separate tab. For each family, the Basic Attack, Special Ability, Exotic Ability (for Exotic pets) and Bonus Ability is display. Mousing over an ability brings up the tooltip, and shift-left-clicking links the ability into your chat box as with other spells and abilities.

How

To open up the list, simply type:
/pal
in your chat window.

There is also a key-binding available for toggling the list with. Alternatively, if you are using a DataBroker, it can be accessed from that.

Bugs

  • None currently known.

If you find something else, please open a ticket to let me know. The comment notification is nowhere near as reliable as the tickets, so if you want me to see it, ticket it! :)

    I love this addon Anyia. When used in conjunction with the hunter pet flow chart, this makes figuring out which pet to bring on a raid a no-brainer. I was wondering, since you make the RaidChecklist addon as well, if you could add another column to Pet Ability List that simply has the player class/spec that overlaps each pet ability. The RaidChecklist seems a bit overkill for me - I just want to know at a glance what classes have the same abilities as my pet.

    I have some errors with 4.01beta2 with a french version of WoW(sorry I cant open a ticket [error 403-forbidden]:

    Thanks a lot, no more error with beta3 and french version is ok.

    I have a question: is it possible to make the "basic" column a little larger?
    In french, most of abilities names are "cut".
    Look at this image for an example : http://midgard-cdt.net/forum/images/pal.jpg
    It's not really important, but it will be nicer.

    It certainly is! I already did adjust the family column, but I didn't have a handy reference for what all the abilities were called in French so I didn't try to adjust the others. I've made some changes in 4.0.1beta4, hopefully my estimates work out... Feel free to give me more screenshots if things are still getting truncated badly!

    I've given up on getting "Embrace of the Shale Spider" to fit into any sort of reasonable column though... :)
