I was already planning a new one for in the next couple of days, with CaptWhyNot's fix, the latest emotes from Teigan, and adding /pet as a command as well as /pe.

With regards to taint, I'll look and see if I can find anything, but from what I've been seeing from other addon developers, the Glyph UI is buggy and easily tainted by addons... and doesn't always blame the correct addon.  If it happens again, please do put up the error message, though, and if anyone else is getting it, more reports can't hurt.

Glad to see an official update to PetEmote.

This is not really important as the destination parameters do not appear to be used in the combat log event handler, but the source & destination raid flags are missing which would cause subsequent parameters to be offset and mismatched with the assigned names if they were ever used. These flags were added in patch 4.2 of WoW. (See for more info.) In my copy of PetEmote.lua, I replaced line 376 with the following:

function PetEmote_HandleCombatLogEvent (timestamp, event, hideCaster, sourceGUID, sourceName, sourceFlags, sourceRaidFlags, destGUID, destName, destFlags, destRaidFlags, ...)

The current version is 1.81; you're on 1.73, which is pre- MoP.  GetNumRaidMembers() was replaced by a new API call in MoP, so older versions that have that won't work in MoP.

Hmm... the addon as I got it from Jorna used /pe instead of /pet, but /pet does seem to make more sense.  I'll update it to support both.

As for the new demons, Teigan, who coordinates the writing of the actual emotes, is working on an update for that.  You can download the current version of her expanded emote files from the first post in the thread on the Petopia boards:

/pet no longer works. You have to do /pe instead.

• #3

I was woundering if you are working on an update for thenew demons and what not?

• #2
Is this updated?

Are we unable to edit the pet fmaily and pet gender in this update? Also, before we were able to type pet emotes in the chat window. For example, "/pet purrs in greeting," where the "/pet" was replaced in the in-game chat with your pet's name: Nedra purrs in greeting. Is that not an option anymore?

What's happening when you try to set pet family or pet gender?  I'm able to do it at home, so not sure what's happening on your installation without more information.
