About PetLeash
PetLeash makes sure that you always have a non-combat pet summoned. It tries to only summon a pet when you are not busy, and can dismiss them when you go into stealth, camouflage or invisibility.
Features:
- Automatically summon a pet when you are not busy.
- Optionally summon a pet only under certain predefined conditions, or dismiss a pet under certain predefined conditions.
- Allows you to configure which pets to use, including by location or with different weighting.
- LibDataBroker launcher to quickly summon pets.
- Randomly summon a different pet on a timer. (Note: This feature can potentially interfere with non-combat pets summoned via other means, such as using the Bloodsail Admiral's Hat)
Commands:
/petleash enable : enable/disable auto-summoning
/petleash togglePet : summon or desummon pet (and switch auto-summoning)
/petleash resummon : summon a new pet
/petleash desummon : desummon pet
/petleash config : show configuration
PetLeash has several key bindings that can be set via the Blizzard Key Binding interface.

Thanks ! I even tried with different timings, in case it was the problem, fewer pets, only in cities... At first, I had the "incompatibility problem" after downloading the "wrong" petleash, but it was solved with a reinstall and the latest updates. Still, the timed auto-switch never worked again after that.
Petleash seems broken due to another mod trying to co-opt it:

Maybe y'all can chase it down?
Oh, suddenly the incompatibility issue people are seeing makes sense.
That's very interesting. I'll see what I can do.
The Winterveil pets can now be summoned without snowballs, any time of the year. Could we have them not default to disabled?
I noticed on my addon list today that PetLeash is tagged as "Incompatible". Any ideas? I've been messing around with my ui, are you aware of any addon that PetLeash does not like? Also, I removed LibAce - is this maybe the problem?
I love PetLeash, especially as Rogue, I want this to be working ;(
The normal zip should have all the libraries emedded that it needs.
I'm not sure what could cause that error exactly. I guess you could try reinstalling it.
Did you figure outwhich addon's causing this? Mine is listed as incompatible too, even after a reinstall
Edit: The curse autoinstall or autoreinstall doesn't seem to work - the Libs and Locales folders are not installed. I got this to work by downloading the addon manually and copying the contents to World of Warcraft/Interface/Addons/PetLeash and overwriting all existing files.
I blame AVG Anti-Virus -.- uninstalled it, reinstalled PetLeash, and now it's working fine. Thanks for an awesome addon btw!
Didn't work :( I guess I will just have to disable all addons and add them one by one to see which is causing the issue.
Please update for 4.3, I hadn't realized how much I truly loved this addon.
. have to go in and change my pet now, like the random ones that I have picked thru your settings. just hit the 150 mark so this addon makes things way more convenient.
I've been using this addon for quite a while now and have never been dismounted because of it. I actually find that funny if it really did happen. I also like that new pets are automatically added to the auto summon list so please don't change that. I wish MountHelper worked in that way.
Nice!! I just posted about falling off mounts and deleted it because you already fixed it 50 minutes ago!
Added, thanks
Please check CanSummonPet() when crossing zone boundaries. I guess you would put it in OnZoneChanged(). I'm not sure why it's not checked in SummonPet() since that's the common leaf node for all pet summoning code, but the script seems to want to do these checks all over the place higher up the logic chain. I guess there must be some 'override' cases where you want to summon unconditionally - or something. :)
