I love this addon, but I am having a problem that I haven't been able to solve.

I have 4 priests on different realms.

For 3 of them PoM Tracker works perfectly.

For the 4th one, no matter what I do I cannot get PoM Tracker to appear on my screen.

I have tried /pom reset many times to no avail.

I've checked in options and the fade is not checked.

How can I get PoM tracker to appear on the screen for this priest?

  • #233

wow not really sure, you could try to remove your WTF\Account\username\server\playername\Saved Variables\PoMtracker.lua file with the game closed so it will restore defaults. But the reset should have the same affect.

You are in holy right? because hide on shadowform could be enabled if it's a shadow priest. I would just close the game and delete the config file I mentioned above and start from there.

JUst found your addon...Will test it and give feed back on it

My old addon I used to use looks like they took the addon off curse...lol

Anyways it is good to see new addons

I'm glad you found it and hope you like it, however it isn't a new mod. It was actually the first PoM tracking mod ever made only 2 weeks after Burning Crusade was released (along with the Prayer of Mending spell). I created it because at the time there were no mods that would track it, and heals would be credited to the person that received the spell, and not the caster (something that wasn't fixed until Cataclysm). I wanted to know where "my" PoM was and how much it was actually healing for. Since the spell on the backend was riddled with issues for years it was a much bigger deal back then. But now recount can properly see it, and credit you for it, click casting mods such as healbot now properly pick it up so its usefulness is lessened, but it still has some advantages like the Divine Insight Proc Detection.

thanks for your work on the addon.  my one beef? my ocd doesn't allow me to use it because the timer line doesn't allow me to match textures with the rest of my ui, and i can't change fonts.  it stands out like a sore thumb, at least to me.  please allow this customization, and enable me to use this excellent mod.  thanks! ;)

  • #227

Do we need to have "POM TRACKER V3.31" above the bar?

  • #228

ah I see, when locked that goes away, ty!

  • #224

somehow my PoM tracker wound up slightly off screen, so I can see half of it (its all the way on the left, so I can see the right half). however i can not move it... at all :(. its unlocked etc etc but the "drag" area is off screen so its stuck. maybe make the drag area any part of the visible area?? i deleted the .lua from my Saved Variables folder but it wont reset position... ughh

  • #225

    Have you tried a '/pom reset' ??

    Volume adjustment

Awesome addon, so glad I finally found this.  However, I can't seem to hear the sound alert.  Any idea if there are issues with other addons interfering with the sound?  Even with my WoW sounds and DBM turned off I still don't hear anything.  Is there a way to adjust the volume at all?

  • #219

hello, really love this addons. But I get a little problem with it. I'm using the glyph :"Glyph of Prayer of Mending"
    http://www.wowhead.com/spell=55685
with this glyph you start with 4 charges not 5 when you cast prayer of mending.
I try edit the addon myself, replacing all "pomcharges=5" with "pomcharges=4", do the job but sometime addon still display :
"0 : Playername"  and not fade off. don't know why.

  • #220

Did this just change? I haven't played since November so maybe I missed an update or something. I can't believe I've missed this or it hadn't been brought up sooner.

  • #222

That is when the glyph was changed from the SoR glyph. I did some digging and apparently this came with MoP. Even the quote you posted doesn't include the 1 less charge. That came in 5.0...so I'll have to add that in, thanks for pointing it out, i'm surprised it hasn't come up sooner.

  • #221

no, this is not a new update, wow head said it was add in patch 4.0.6

This used to be Glyph of Spirit of Redemption, increasing the duration of Spirit of Redemption by 6 seconds.

It was changed in patch 4.0.6:

Glyph of Spirit of Redemption has been converted into Glyph of Prayer of Mending, which increases the healing done by the first charge of Prayer of Mending by 60%.
  • #218

Oh gosh pls make a real  GUI, i hate these type /long stupid strings to fix.
beside that it's a nice addon.. but i aint working in Linux so /type to fix my settings arent really enjoyable..

hope u get some real UI like most addons these days have.
