    I made a patch to fix the error where PoMTracker is visible on non-Priests.

  • #203

    Thanks for your hard work elidion!

    Can you add a last option, so by right-clicking the addon (the invisible header I guess) it WON'T pop-up the option gui?  Just today I must had right-click 12 times to pick up items and pop the options window for the addon would show.  I MUCH prefer just to type /pom to set things!

    Since the update two days ago, the addon is now showing up by default on my non-priest characters. Before the most recent update it did not do that.

  • #200

    Options are not loading properly on login. I have it set to "Fade when not active" but it never does on first login. I have to go into options, uncheck "Fade when not active" and then recheck it, every single time.

  • #208

    I cannot duplicate this issue. Does anyone else have problems with options savings?

  • #199

    Could you remove the "Doesnt exist." message when logging in?  There's no indication of which addon is printing the message (I had to grep through all my addons to find it), and it communicates nothing at all to the end user.

    "No scale setting found, defaulting to 10." would make sense... but there's no reason to tell the user about that, either.  Just set the default and be done with it.  :-)

    Anyhow, thank you for updating this handy addon!

    Yeah that was my bad, it was some debugging code I had in there when I was working it because I was having some issues...didn't mean to leave it there.

  • #198

    Should be fixed now.

  • #193

    Since the latest patch, the addon shows while in shadow spec.  Can it be hidden as it was before? (or add an option to?)

    I also get a bunch of errors now.  For now I'm gonna rollback I guess...

  • #194

    What errors are you getting? And It never hid itself when in least not by my doing. maybe another mod caused it? You can have the fade option on so it will hide when not casting. But now sice a shadow priest can cast PoM without dropping shadowform such a feature would be sort of pointless.

    But I would like to know about errors you are getting...I tested it and recieved none.

  • #197

    errors should be fixed, and I added a hide on shadowform option.

  • #196

    Just by typing /pom I get:

    <in C code>
    PoMTracker\PoMTracker-3.01.lua:215: in function "frametoggle"
    PoMTracker\PoMTracker-3.01.lua:43: in function "OnEvent"
    <string>:"*:OnEvent":1: in function <string>:"*:OnEvent":1
    self = <table> {
     timeset = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:130
     clearheal = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:143
     tracker_SlashCommandHandler = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:375
     processname = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:121
     OptionsMenu = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:326
     OnEvent = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:41
     frametoggle = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:213

     settarget = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:163
     OptionsMenuShow = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:316
     OptionsMenuScale = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:312
     timerstart = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:171
     OptionFrame_OnShow = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:274
     OnLoad = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:26
     pomkill = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:148
    pomonunit = 0

    And if I try to toggle the fade effect, I get:

    PoMTracker\PoMTracker-3.01.lua:215: Usage: PoMOptionFrame_Scale:SetValue(value)
    <in C code>
    PoMTracker\PoMTracker-3.01.lua:215: in function "frametoggle"
    PoMTracker\PoMTracker-3.01.lua:43: in function "OnEvent"
    <string>:"*:OnEvent":1: in function <string>:"*:OnEvent":1

    self = <table> {
     timeset = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:130
     clearheal = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:143
     tracker_SlashCommandHandler = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:375
     processname = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:121
     OptionsMenu = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:326
     OnEvent = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:41
     frametoggle = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:213
     settarget = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:163
     OptionsMenuShow = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:316
     OptionsMenuScale = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:312
     timerstart = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:171
     OptionFrame_OnShow = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:274
     OnLoad = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:26
     pomkill = <func> @..\PoMTracker.lua:148
    pomonunit = 0

    Which looks like the same error?  As for being shadow and using PoM, not too many shadow priests are glyphed for that, and actually using in shadow.  Having it on, all the time, when I dps and not use Prayer of Mending, it's taking space on my ui I would prefer not to use at all.

    i have used this addon for years; its great and very reliable, however i think it should look a bit...sleeker :P the design is very old and it'd be cool to get an aesthetically pleasing update! just my cents, keep up the awesome work

    (edit: just for lawls, heres a ss of your same pom tracker that i edited a bit, in the lower right corner:

    *Edit* Scrap everything I said below lol. I updated the mod to scale and added some other stuff.

    Yeah the problem is I don't really play anymore and don't have the time to spend on it and/or read up on all the new UI changes that have been done over the last couple years. I pretty much log in with my buddies priest whenever there is a major patch to test it, and update it if the patch broke it...which happened in nearly every cata patch. People have been asking for a better UI for years...or to make it scalable....I guess if I ever get some interest in the game again I might look into it...but MoP didn't grab my attention at all. Also adding in scalability adds so much bloat to the mod, the memory footprint will probably double if I ever got around to adding it. You can hide the title bar, you can have it fade out when you don't have a PoM up so I guess I never made it a priority.
