I have a suggestion on making preform functional again, I mean no more stupid countdown queues.

As far as I understand it put raiders in queue for specific bg after receiving some sort of signal from raid leader. Now it's impossible to fully automate via addon b/c of protected JoinBattlefield function. But it's still possible to queue for bg using a macro (multiple lines of /click commands). And it's possible to change macro text while not in combat.

The method I suggest is:

1)addon creates an empty macro and you put it on action bar

2)RL announces "get ready for queue!" and ppl start to spam this macro like mad

3)RL emits "lets queue" signal and macro turns into queueing one using legit EditMacro function

4)Everyone queues virtually simultaneously! PROFIT!

I believe this method to grant better synchronization than countdown queues.

I am glad for the 5.1 change. Queuing into a random regular battleground with fellow randoms only to discover your side was up against a full preformed group was ZERO FUN.

Torrid, we hope that you'll still update Preform because even though he does not do what you need ... it still shows where someone zaregatsya where someone threw her ... So please still let a addon, it is very necessary and still even now at 5.1 is useful

oQueue has found a work around for the queueing limitation. 

There will be a new version coming out today or tomorrow that will allow you to queue as a group once again.

In patch 5.1, we resolved some issues regarding how Addons interact with the Battleground queue system. It is no longer possible to automate queuing for standard or random Battlegrounds in groups larger than 5.

Preform, you will be missed. :'(

oQueue is an much better PvP Addon and an Alternative to Preform AV Enabler.

It creates a social mesh network in WoW, allowing you to create, find, and managed premades all within the game. It has built-in features such as wait listing, item level and resilience level restrictions, vent information, and more. It is useful to find premades for PvP, Dugeons, Raids, World PvP, Challenge Modes, and more!
