About PriOs
PriOs is a simple AddOn to support the pre-raid prio loot system.
Prio loot system
This loot system allows every single raider to select one specific item for the raid to come. This is done between invites and before engaging the first boss. When a selected item drops, it will not follow normal loot rules (DKP, rolls, ...) but will instantly go to the person who had selected it. Should it be selected by more than one person, those (and only them) will proceed normal loot rules to decide who will get the item eventually.
Usage for loot master
To start up, invite players and create the raid. When a raid group is formed, type /prios start. Await for the priorities to be set and close by using /prios stop. At all times you can check the list using /prios, and you can clear it using /prios clear.
When a drop was detected that was prio'd by a raid member, it will be clearly announced.
Usage for raid members
When priorities can be set (between start and stop), send a message to the raid chat in the format /raid prio item, where item is to be replaced by the item name or link you want to select.
Extra info
When multiple people run PriOs in a raid, only one is supposed to actually 'manage' it. The other PriOs running will synchronize automatically. This is usefull when the master looter vanishes for whatever reason. Also the list is saved upon logout/DC, so it's pretty fail-safe.
