I think I missed the details but how do I turn off the auto response and leave it at simply auto-blocking? It seems to interact poorly with some addons. This occurs with addons that look at who you whisper.

I use other anti social addons as well and the auto-tell from Inviteblock seems to count as if I actually whispered them myself. If I can remove that auto-tell from Inviteblock I can probably avoid spam from people as a result.

    Thanks in Advance :)

Sorry in the delay in getting back to you.

You can turn off the replies with (really, toggles on and off):

    /inviteblock reply

And as far as it goes, it is as if you did whisper them, so not suprised that it is tracked as such by other mods.

Ahh thanks! No worries on the delayas I'm pretty patient. I think I had tried that command before. Must have typed it wrong then :P

    Cheers

Can you add a couple options?

Ability to block all Whispers, with a reply message.

    and

Ability to not see the messages, whispers, invites, etc, in the logs.

It really irritates me when someone tries to Duel me or group me, then whispers me to bitch that im using a blocker. Currently i use this Mod, and a mod called DNDX... DNDX blocks all whispers. I dont even see the whispers, or a notice that someone sent one. It automatically reply's to each whisper with whatever message i set it as. I would rather not be in DND mode, and just not see messages unless the person is on my list.

I dont know about others, but i would rather grind mobs without someone bugging me to group, just because they want the kills also. Im sorry, im a 100% solo kinda hunter...

It has always irritated me (pet peeve) when I get blind-invited to group without a pre-whisper.

I was going to create an addon that would parse my incoming whispers to create a per-session array of people that have messaged me and block all invites not from people within this list (in the past x minutes, say 15 or so). People from my guild or my friends list would also be exempt from blocking.

The addon you have created here almost does that already. Just need to add the list of whisperers and the code for checking to see if they have whispered you in the past x minutes.

Do you think you could add that code?

Sounds like a neat idea, so I'll take a look and see how much work it would be.

along similar lines, I'd like to block group invite requests whenever i'm in an LFG queue... and send a message to my window like... "XYZ tried to invite you, but you auto-declined because you are Queued in LFG".. and send a whisper to him like "invite auto-declined because i'm queued in LFG"

.. in case it's not obvious.. this feature idea is intended to prevent you in-advertantly accepting an invite when you've been waiting in the queue for 20 minutes, thus losing your place in line.

Documents\Downloads\Compressed\ASSBlock-v0.2.2.zip: The archive is either in unknown format or damaged

i think we need to fix it re zip it and repost it

Sorry about that. Not sure what happened.

I've changed the name to be a little "nicer" (InviteBlock), and it looks like it has a proper zip file now.

Now that I'm back and playing again, I've updated the TOC file for version compatibility so it is not listed as out of date, but I have not seen any issues with functionality (it worked just fine for blocking a duel request just yesterday!)

using it without problems on 3.0.3, just stay polite and don't say ass lol.

This addon is bogus and can get you in trouble with blizz hence the word ASS in it when you try to duel someone
