About Elite Player Frame (Enhanced)
This is a rewrite of the original ElitePlayerFrame by Kryndon.
It simply changes the background texture of your PlayerFrame on your UI.
It's based on 1.2 -- i never did find a real 1.3 --, but made to work with the Burning Crusade and beyond. It's now been rewritten once again, to function better and introduce some added options.
It now has fixed modes and an auto mode which does the following:
- 1-9 = Normal
- 10-59 = Rare
- 60-(Current expansion's level cap - 1) = Rare Elite
- (Current expansion's level cap) = Elite
- Death Knight frames for Death Knight classes, different based on faction -- can be disabled.
Because i can find no way to know what expansion is installed/running -- if any --, the addon assumes the following based on Blizzard's current pattern and the game's build info:
- Each major version is a new expansion (eg. 2.0 = TBC, 3.0 = WotLK, 4.0 = Catacylsm).
- You have the latest expansion installed and running.
- Each expansion increases the level cap by 10 up until 80, at which point each expansion after increases the level cap by 5.
I'll manually update the expansion info in the addon should any of that change, but it's designed to work without having to be updated ever again.
Use /epf in game for more info and a list of options.
- Updated ToC for Cataclysm.
- Updated for removal of implicit "this" in Catacylsm.
- Fix for version checking.

Thank you for updating this!

I used to have my own addon that customised a lot of bar text and such as you suggest, but i've gone back to using CT_UnitFrames instead, so perhaps try that -- it works fine with this addon.

Pretty much, they're trying to do different things to player frame, so only one is going to win out.
If there's interest in it, i can just add support to other -- target, target of target, focus etc. -- frame types for mine.
I do however use this myself ofc, so as soon as 3.3 is live, i will fix it.
I won't be updating just for the sake of the interface version.
Let me know if you encounter any issues.
