About Protection Rotation Helper (CLCProt)

CLCProt - Protection Rotation Helper - Works in 5.0.4

  • This Addon displays the next move you should use in your rotation and any cooldown you would like tracked, as well as buffs/debuffs you want tracked.
  • Can switch between single and AOE rotation tanking priority sets.
  • Rotations can be customised in the options menu.
  • Sits quite happily alongside CLCRet and will auto disable when not in a Protection talent spec.
  • Commands: /clcprot - opens the options frame.

Ok maybe i'm doing something wrong but i can get skill picture to show up like in the example. I only get the holy power bar. I have read every option and can't figure out how to set it like in the example.

The 4 Cooldowns and the Debuffs are things you have to add yourself, what you should see, upon loading the addon, is HotR in the middle, and Avenger's Shield on the right.

if this is not the case, can you provide a link to the build you are using, it may be an error in my code.

I don't see HotR or Avenger's shield. I only get the holy power bar. Since the armory is buggued i can't provide a link for the build at the moment but i use a 0/31/5 stardard tanking build.

I tryed to disable all other add-on but it didn't change anything.

When you say upon loading the addon do you mean when you lauch the game for the first time using it or after playing with some parameter in it?

Tx for your quick reply :)

I'm having the same issue, I just see the Holy Power-bar. Current build is:

@huh-1, Currently the addon will not change from CS to HoR, you however, can just press HoR when CS shows up, and the addon will go to the next skill, this is because they share a cooldown now.

@protzot, Will look into the holy bar issue, i believe it has something to do with the Default Blizzard Player frame being shown.

@Thyphear, its not allowed to be clicky, blizzard did all sorts of things to prevent this a long time ago, the addon is only supposed to show you what to press next

Hammer of the Righteous will always be used over Crusader Strike now,

Anyone else can confirm that Holy Power bar is lost and not option to enable it always like CLCRET?
  • #5
Disabled xperl and the holy power bar returned, so it may be a bug related to that. It, however, is not an issue in CLCRET.

FYI: Currently, HoR does more threat than CS and should be used in place of CS even in a single-target rotation.

I really like the idea, and I would definetely like to use this addon. There's just one problem. If you go from single target to aoe, you want to use HoR. How will the addon be able to change priority?
  • #1
What about Hammer of the Righteous? And it's not clicky? hrm... Good job though, lots of options. Would be cool if you could also do a youtube video on a typical setup. :)

Thank you for your hard work!
