Disregard my earlier addon request. A recent update:

The Reputation Pane now saves which reputation categories are expanded or collapsed.

Well.. no error message. I just was using the default questlog, I collapsed a quest category and then I logged off. I logged back on and everything was expanded again. I see the mod in my addon folder and can enable/disable it from the addon menu on the character screen, but other than that I wouldnt know it was there.

This is great. Such a pet peeve for me.

A trivial request: any desire to add a "Collapse All" button to the top of the log to accompany this?

One thing that I noticed is that when you have all quest categories collapsed, the moment you receive new quests in a completely new category, that new category starts collapsed by default.

While not intentional, that's also not surprising. Collapsed categories are stored by index number (because that's how Blizzard tracks them), not by name. So when a new category appears in the existing quests, it can very easily take the place of a previously-collapsed category, thus appearing to the addon as if it should be collapsed itself.

I should probably store the category names also, and double-check against that list.
