About Raid Frame Be Gone
This is a very simple addon which will remove the standard Blizzard Raid Frames and replace the Flare Function.
- To hide raid frames (if not done automatically): /rfbg hide
- To show raid frames (for whatever reason): /rfbg show
Added v2.0:
- Type '/rfbg flare help' for help
- Click and Drag the button to move
I am hopefully going to make the addon button easier to use so that it has separate buttons for each flare instead of click modifiers, but until then this should do... I hope. Any problems make a comment.
v2.02 Prevents some errors if in combat
v2.01 Minor Fix
v2.0 Allows Flares from an in game button
v1.5 Allows toggling of hidden raid frames
v1.4 Should now also re-check if frame hidden when entering a raid group
v1.3 Reloading UI whilst in raid will no longer break addon. Added Slash Command.
v1.2 Should actually work...
v1.1 Battleground Hotfix

Does this still work? Is an update going to be seen in the near future?
Thankyou for an excellent addon. This is precisley what I have been seraching for. Works perfectly and no Errors. At last I can get rid of that Blizzard raid frame that would annoyingly cover up the edge of my X-Perl frame when it appeared.
Other Addons that have hide functions for the Blizzard raid frame would often bug in a fight if a raider died and the Blizzard frame would re-appear. This addon - no problems at all. Works like a charm and very easy to use with the simple commands in case I need to access raid frames for whatever reason.
The flares feature is nice - Having seperate buttons for each flare, or clicking on the Flare button and getting a little pop-out menu for the different flares available would be a very welcome addition to see in future updates.
I found a way to hide this button.
Go into your Addon folder (C:\...\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\) and search for the RaidFrameBeGone folder. Open the rfbg2.xml with notepad or editor. Ther you should finde something like:
<UI xmlns ....
<Button>... </Button>
</URL>
Delete all between <button> </button> and the <button> </button> too.
Now it should look like:
<Ui xmlns="http://www.blizzard.com/wow/ui/"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.blizzard.com/wow/ui/ ..\FrameXML\UI.xsd">
</Ui>
Save it, start WoW and enjoy WoW withour Raidframe and without the button ^_^
@Dermanion: Hope its ok to post this. Great Addon!
but you need to integrade a rangefinder.
dont know the english word, bit if a player is not in your range, that it shows it like the old addon did.
plsssss ^^
i hope u know what i mean
It is not a solution to /reload everytime you get an action blocked error
and what other addons you have installed has nothing to do with it.
Simple method to test:
1. Load up the game with this as the ONLY addon.
2. Form a party with a friend.
3. /flare show and use a flare.
... tell me what happens next.
4. If you want to be really thorough pull a mob, then use a flare.
